Superb quality

These are just what I needed as the leads which came with my new turntable were just a tad short and made setting up really awkward for me. These are good quality leads and have a nice snug fit and really give a good sound so no complaints here. Good price and good quality.

Perfect RCA cables 10/10 👍

I have an old projector with terrible built-in speakers. This excellent value cable allowed a connection between back of Blu-ray player to mini hifi leaving the connected projector to concentrate on picture alone. Sound quality is now excellent and the cable feels durable with lots of different lengths to suit your needs.

KabelDirekt – 5m – RCA/phono cable, 2 to 2 RCA I have connected this cable to the output of an Electrocompaniet phono pre amplifier and to the input of my main amplifier- here are my findings: The cable is robust and somewhat stiff when compared to the supple, well known and costlier Japanese, British and USA cables. Routing the cable was easy and the plugs fit really well with none of the looseness mentioned in other user reviews. They feel like the Rean brand from Neutrik when actually pushing them onto the inputs. The plugs do not feel as robust as the die cast type but perform their task very well. This is the longest RCA cable I have ever used and I was concerned that there might be a noticeable difference in sound quality because of the length. I have to report that I could not detect any difference which was more than a pleasant surprise. If you are looking for 'audio jewellery' it might be better to look elsewhere. However, if you simply need a reasonably priced RCA cable that will carry a signal with integrity, I doubt whether you could find anything to better this one. Simply fit. Forget. And enjoy the music.

While I usually fall into the "all RCA cables sound the same" camp (because it's nearly always true), there are situations where a high quality double-screened cable can beat a cheap one by a country mile, and that's when they're being used with high impedance sources. Nearly all decent hi-fi equipment has low impedance RCA outputs (often 600 Ohms or less) making screening far less important, but going back to the days of DIN-standard outputs, many of those were high impedance, in some cases in the region of 330K Ohms. This gives very poor interference rejection leading to stray pickup of digital switching noise from modern TVs, monitors, computers, mains LED lighting, etc. My use case for this specific RCA cable is connecting the DIN output of an old piece of audio equipment (via a short 5-pin DIN plug to RCA sockets adaptor) to the RCA inputs of a USB ADC/DAC for vinyl record capture. A cheap 1.5 metre RCA cable led to significant stray pickup of unwanted digital noise from other equipment in the same room. Replacing it with this 1.5 metre KabelDirekt cable reduced this by a factor of 3. I can now capture vinyl happy in the knowledge that stray pickup is insignificantly low compared to the wanted signal, and my captures will be as clean as they can be reasonably expected to be with the equipment I have. Am I happy with the cable for my use case? Absolutely! If you need a good cable for similar reasons, I doubt you'll find better.
