Tricky initial setup, but great little bulbs
I was a little bit concerned when I started to set up the first bulb here because my hub had a hard time finding it. Running through the factory reset process helped a lot on the troublesome bulb, and the other paired straight away. I've had no problems with responsiveness or usability. They're a perfect fit for two of my lamps that are more decorative and need a smaller light.

The Only Zigbee Bulbs in This Form Factor - Expect Problems
I purchased these bulbs for my kitchen ceiling fan. I control them via Zigbee to a Hue Bridge. When they work, they integrate seamlessly and perform excellently.Unfortunately, reliability has been a significant issue. About 10% of the time when I turn them on, only two out of the three bulbs respond. Another issue is that these bulbs often report the wrong color state to the Hue Bridge. To add insult to injury, one bulb completely failed within just five months of ownership.Despite these problems, I'm continuing to use and replace them because they are seemingly the only Zigbee bulbs on the market in this form factor.

Nightmare to set up with Hue or Google Home
These are a nightmare to set up. It's not worth the multiple apps, hours of time, or security vulnerabilities with how much data these things are pulling in (and sending out) from your home network.I recommend hue wiz, if you don't have a hue bridge/want to save some money. Or TP-Link smart bulbs. Both are easier to use and economical.

Works with Home Assistant via ZHA and is a Zigbee Router
Paired immediately with Home Assistant using ZHA and is reported as a Zigbee router, not endpoint. It does appear that 1/3 boxes I received were already open and I had to reset the bulbs (screw them in and out of their sockets waiting one second each time until it flashes), but they paired and work just fine. If anything goes wrong I'll be sure to update here but from first setup they seem to be great!

Decent smart bulbs, but with some annoyances
I had a fairly frustrating time trying to get these bulbs set up on my network. It's convenient that they don't need a hub, but the SmartLife app that you use to connect them to your network is a bit buggy and weird. For whatever reason I could not get them to connect in "EZ" mode, and thanks to the poor setup instructions in the app it took me several tries to finally connect them via the "AP" mode. Hint -- you have to do the 3x turn-on turn-off procedure TWICE to get the slowly blinking light that indicates the AP pairing mode rather than the fast-blinking EZ mode.Anyway, once the lights were setup, they were easy to control either with the SmartLife app or Google Home. I really like the brightness and color temperature options for white light. The lights aren't very bright when you're running them in color mode, but they act as nice mood/movie lighting.Another flaw is that the bulbs get pretty hot during normal use. I have never owned other smart bulbs so I can't speak to how this compares to something from GE or Phillips, but to me this heat output must result in a much less energy efficient light since so much energy is lost to heat. I wouldn't put these all over the house thinking you are going to save a ton of energy over incandescent bulbs. Non-smart LEDs are probably your best option for that. But these are great to have in your living room or somewhere you only use the lights a few hours a day and like to have various color temperature / color options.

Favorite bulbs yet
I really, really like these bulbs. Colors are rich. Idk if any bulbs are super crazy bright for the colors, these seems as bright as any. Colors are not as bright as shades of white. Cool and warm tones of white are crazy bright on these bulbs... I would like if they could be dimmed down more. They are fairly bright even when turned all the way down... switch to a color which are dimmer if you need less light cuz... these are bright. I like the smart life app alot it's easy to use.

DOA Bulb
One of two bulbs was dead on arrival. The other bulb paired easily with Hue app. That's nice.
