Libbey Tempo Glass Bowls, 5.5-inch, Set of 12

These dishes came packaged very well and they are completely beautiful looking. I thought they would be made from thin glass as many others that I looked at but these are extremely well made and very sturdy. Just perfect.******* 06/11/2014 - Four years later and I still have all the bowls. They have held up to dishwasher, child, and everyday use and they even survived our move 600 miles away! These bowls will last me a lifetime and were well worth the investment.*******03/18/2016 - Still have these fabulous bowls. Not one has broken through moving and falls. I have used them for everyday use since day one. They have been in the dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. I have used them outside for barbecues and pool parties. Not one of these bowls has failed after 6 years of every day use with children and animals in the house too. Can't say enough about how wonderful these bowls truly are.

I purchased these dishes to have on hand for parties and entertaining. I love them. The dinner plates,salad plates and bowels are very good quality. I also use them as serveware for cheese and appetizers. They are very heavy glass, so I don't worry about breakage. When they arrived I put them in the dishwasher, NO PROBLEM. They look beautiful on the table and just in a stack on the buffet server. I will order another set of 12 for my holiday entertaining.

Honestly I love these glass bowls. The shape is awesome, and they are dish washer safe. It’s a good sized bowl, so it could be used for anything from cereal to salad or fruit. Obviously, being made of glass, they are a bit heavy, but only compared to other equitable bowls.

very nice but in hind sight, i should have gone with a round bowl. The corners of these fall down in the dishwasher and i've had a few to get chipped corners. great size!

Once I got these I realized they're much prettier for uses other than food. I have votive candles burning in some at night and the candles make the glass sparkle so pretty. I use a couple on my dresser to hold jewelry I lay out for the next day. They're very versatile for many uses throughout the house since they're so pretty. (One of the twelve arrived with a chip in the glass. But it's no big deal, all the others were fine and at the price, I wouldn't care if I had only gotten 10 instead of 12.)

These square bowls can be used for so many things: cereal, ice cream sundaes/desserts, soup, pasta.....and look modern or can mix and match to almost any place setting. I already had purchased 4, so I knew they are durable and over the years they have not etched or frosted.

They are pretty but don’t work I bought them for soup or cereal but as soon as you pour in hot liquid they crack I really want my money back

Want to eat some cereal but you’re tired of all the milk leaking through your hands? Bowls are a great invention. put stuff in them and eat it! These bowls take out the guesswork of “how much soup do i have left?” from any angle, not just the top.
