Bought this when the local oil change place tried to convince my wife to buy one of theirs for twice the price. 10 minutes later I had removed the old one and installed the new one. This filter was a direct replacement for my old one which was caked with dust and lint.

Most people don't even know they have (or probably have) a 'cabin' air filter hidden behind their glovebox in their cars. I don't think that the much older cars had these, but if you have a car that does have this filter (as most now do), you should take a look at how disgusting the old filter becomes over time. For this price, it makes sense to replace them when they get dirty. You just need to go to YouTube to see a video on how to find and replace them. It's really rather simple... usually.

Great filter, works fine, a bear to install on my Ford
Nothing at all wrong with the filter. The cabin air filters certainly work well. My gripe is with Ford engineers who decided to make changing the filter an Olympic event. No reflection on the filter, just Ford. If you haven't checked your filter recently, do so. I think you'll notice the difference.
