Responsive Keys and No Battery Worries
First off: if you like in the UK and you're worried that the K750 might not get enough sunlight to operate properly - don't worry. I'm in Aberdeen and even on an overcast day, with the laptop about 6m from the nearest window, it gets more than enough juice. In fact, I got it over a week ago and it still shows 100% battery. I've used it for several hours each day, too.Design:Attractive with a piano black fingerprint magnet finish on top and a white back for contrast. It's extremely thin and fairly light, though I think the (presumeably larger) battery it holds probably adds to the weight somewhat. The solar panels look kind of cool, and the wireless USB receiver is absolutely tiny. The plastic legs that fold out at the back to change the angle look flimsy, but I haven't noticed any flex so far. All in all, it looks good and it's designed well.Typing experience:I'm used to using a Unicomp mechanical keyboard, which unfortunately died recently, so moving to the scissor switch style keys on the k750 was quite a change. The keys are flat, but they have a great tactile response and I never doubt whether or not I've actually pressed one. Basically, the balance between ease of pressing and getting that satisfying click is near perfect. The layout is almost as good, with an extra large left ctrl key that I find particularly useful in programs where I use it a lot, like Photoshop. The keys are in the modern chiclet style, which doesn't bother me quite as much as I'd feared. The one niggle I have is that the Delete key could be a few mm further to the right of the enter key, but I suspect that I'll get used to it.Gaming experience:I played a little Battlefield 3 and didn't have any problems beyond my usual incompetence. The keys, being chiclet style, are further apart than most gaming keyboards, but I soon got used to them. I didn't notice any problems with pressing too many buttons at once, though I don't often do that, even while playing games.Software and features:Like a laptop keyboard, the K750 uses fn keys (activated with an oversize button that takes the place of what would be the near-redundant menu key) for volume and system functions. The laptop installs instantly and I've had no connection issues.Finding the solar panel software online was easy and it activates with no problems when I press the solar key on the keyboard. The program displays the current light level and how much battery is left. Very useful, and also interesting if you're wondering just how bright your environment is.Overall:This is a well executed and innovative product from Logitech. I've always found their design and products a bit boring and run-of-the-mill in the past, yet I'm very impressed with the design, feel, and features of the K750.

Perfect wireless keyboard.
I bought this keyboard back in March (2013) to replace my wired keyboard as I am trying to cut down on the spaghetti junction of wires around my computer. I received the product in good time, and the packaging was of a good quality.Upon opening, the first thing that becomes apparent is how slim the thing is. It has a very low profile. It has no flex that I could discern and feels very solid and well put together. The keyboard frame has nice glossy finish, it adds to the overall impressive build quality but also doubles as a fingerprint magnet. The solar panels are placed at the top above the F keys, there are two, one on the left and the other on the right. When looking at the pictures it seemed that the panels might be a bit obtrusive however in real life they appear almost unnoticeable blending into the glossy casing. There is a function button located underneath the right hand panel next to the on/off switch which you can press to check the battery life out. It also has little meter which indicates how much light the panels are receiving, with smiley face markers denoting the points which are 'bad' and 'good' in order to help with charging. I have had this keyboard since early March and the battery is still at 100%. I turn it off at night and only use it casually (not for work) but to me the battery seems excellent. I keep it on a slide out tray under my desk so it doesn't get much light either. The software is downloaded when you install the keyboard drivers. The keyboard is simple to connect via USB and the software downloads very fast once you plug it in. The keys are very well spaced and press in with a satisfying click that doesn't create much noise at all. When turning it on there is around a 2 second delay before you can type. Finally, the range seems good however I only use it primarily at my desktop so can't comment too much on that. I have used it when browsing the web from my tv which sits about 5 metres away and there was no drop out or delays. The only con I can think of is there are no num/caps/ and scroll lock lights. This isn't a big deal to me and I can see why they would leave these things out of a power saving wireless keyboard that doesn't take batteries. For £50 this keyboard is well worth it. It is very well built and feels like it would last years. Iv'e bought cheap wireless keyboards that just packed in after a very short time, investing a bit of extra money seems practical. The money you would save on batteries over that time would more or less help it pay for itself anyway. That's the decision that helped me justify this purchase and I certainly don't regret it.

BRILLIANT KEYBOARD... when they send you the right one...
British keyboard pictures, US sent, quite good for gaming and works fine on windows 8. so since it was mainly for gaming I'm not bothering with the whole swapping around because frankly i can't be bothered (also amazon never replied to my request....)i'd day a 9/10the function keys work - AFTER you download the (free don't worry) app from Logitech and they are really good for swapping around in game volume without having to run to the options menu.the solar powered aspect is brilliant, (free app the keyboard installs on plug-in which is brilliant) I am currently running at 61 Lux and charging its currently 2:00am (yeah i don't sleep well) - bedroom light on, thought when off, it runs at 16 Lux and keeps on charging.also the caps on and off bring up a little onscreen transparent pop up but no keyboard lights which is good.all in all a great keyboard that you can tie onto another Logitech product's receiver.only knocked off the one point out of ten because of the having to go to the Logitech website to download the stuff myself (which you have to fill in a little question thing for) brilliant for gaming - windows 8 - general typing (which I'm using it to do now) - good product.
