I waited a few weeks after installing this battery to leave a review, to confirm it's good. I get a rated capacity of around 6700mAh and it's been through a few charge cycles now.Although there are no instruction in the box, there are plenty of guides on the web including on iFixit. On that site they give the task a difficult rating, but with the exception of removing the glue from the existing batteries it's not the hard. Access is quite easy, and it's just a matter of preparing a workspace and taking out (and carefully storing) the many screws in the right order. Some of the stages aren't really necessary, you don't need to disconnect the speakers, just remove the screws and push them a bit to the side for access.The glue can be difficult, but even force applied with the right tool will free the old batteries. I used some nylon bicycle tyre levers with an improvised pivot to slowly lift the batteries away from the case, which did the job in ten minutes. It does take some force, but carefully applied so as not to puncture the battery packs.Overall, a good kit, but really should include at least a one sheet guide in the box with some links.

Was easy to install and plenty of youtube videos out there to help you along your way.I would say make sure you have proper adhesive remover as getting the old battery out was the hardest part about the replacement.I would also get a can of air as you might as well give the inside a clean while you have the back open.

Very good battery life, the mac last a lot longer now

Great battery - offers similar charge to the original battery in my MacBook Pro (13", late 2012). Followed the instructions to install on iFIxit and this battery is performing well. It's given my MacBook a new lease of life.
