It was my understanding that these are for removing the toxins in your body. If you follow the directions they are pretty easy to use, and adhere very well to your skin. When they no longer turn black that’s telling you that they’ve gotten everything out that they can at that time. That’s my take on it. Removing toxins helps with inflammation and pain. And that’s what’s worked for me. I think they’re great! If this helps… I pick my foot up and put it on the opposite knee. I take the adhesive and lay them flat in front of me and Place the poorest side of the enclosed patch upwards in the middle of the adhesive. I leave the skinny strip on for handling. I then smack it right in the middle of my foot across the width of my foot, take off the strip and press it all down all the way around. Actually it’s hard to get off! The patches and the sticky plaster comes separately so you have to stick it together yourself. This is not what I was expecting, so I am giving it three stars. I would not re-order.

These pads work

These pads are excellent. I have been using it for 5 days. The first morning, when I removed them, it looked like black tar on the bottom of my feet. Each morning for four mornings, the color gradually faded. They are comfortable to wear at night. I have more energy and I no longer take naps as I am so busy.

Don't waste your money.

Scam. These have something black in the pads. When your feet sweat it turns black. You can put them in water and same effect. Didn't notice any difference other than soggy pads on my feet after I woke up.
