it's a bug's life up close and personal!
this is one of the best gifts you can give a child -- will entertain them for hours. very sturdy -- our granddaughter slammed the bug catcher down on concrete to get an ant to move and it didn't break! we don't recommend that but were thrilled the toy didnt break. 32 year old son had one 25 or so years ago and remembered how he loved it so we bought this for his 5 y/o daughter.

Nice Birthday gift for a 1st grader
I asked a parent what their son wanted for his 7th birthday and she said he likes to catch Bugs. This was perfect and can be added to with other accessories. Arrived quickly and packed well.

The bug vacuum itself sucks lol, but the box it comes in has some other little trinkets that makes up for it. I haven’t given up on this vacuum though I want to find a way to make it strong enough to actually suck things up. I mean it literally can’t even pick up light dirt or ants or anything.
