The ideal accompaniment to a car with a radio, but no bluetooth-in or (wired) aux-in.
My elderly Jag has a great CD Radio Cassette set up. The sound is lovely. Wonderful speakers, great bass. However, no aux-in socket, and hi fi standard bluetooth was not around at time of manufacture... I would never change its original in-car hi fi, and I love my tapes too much... And whilst it is working all as Jag intended, it is just great to be original. I have tried connecting the phone to a 'cassette with a lead and 3.5mm jack'... I had great sound quality - but after a while you get that 'mobile interference', that 'bum-didi-bum-didi-bum' sound that endlessly repeats itself and gets louder and louder making telephone conversations too annoying... as that sound slowly gets louder than the other's voice. I have tried bluetooth receivers connected to the tape + 3.5mm jack, that worked, but the BT receiver has to be charged up, and the tape has to be playing, and if you are not using the phone / playing music, the cassette deck tries to FF to the 'next song' - which of course does not exist (AMS... automatic music search, the best of the 90s...) On top of this, there is the trail of wires. This very small gizmo blitzes everything else I have tried... AND trumps my earlier stab at a wired FM transmitter (which would turn itself off after a few minutes of inertia, to a sound of static hiss.) This is great, I plugged it in and set it to 87.5FM, which is the first frequency in the spectrum on my car stereo (and is first on most). This has the added advantage of having no (legal) stations broadcasting on that frequency (to my knowledge).... I twinned my phone to this using BT. And that's it. Make sure the central button is turned up full (clockwise) and your phone is turned up to full BT volume too... The sound quality is great. The only time when it is not, is when someone is broadcasting an illegal radio station from somewhere on 87.5FM... but these are always ultra local anyway, and even here the one minute of interference you get as you drive past, is hardly anything, as the radio frequency from this thing seems to be fairly sturdy - and this is central Birmingham. The other good thing to note is, it does not turn itself off during a period of inactivity. Just a clear signal, and when nothing is happening, a clear signal of nothing... no hiss really at all. No complaints... and I have bought a couple of these as a thank you prez to a couple of mates in the same position car stereo-wise, who thought they'd be pretty pony but were amazed at the quality of the sound, the clarity and the quality of voice speaking from their driving position... So now they can do Spotify, Radio 5, Radio 6, Talk Sport in stereo in the car. Good one.

Brilliant works really well
I bought this for my 21 year classic BMW 528i which does not have Bluetooth or any usb ports and i must say it works beyond my expectations. It is easy to set up and works really well. As previous reviewer said sync to 87. FM and then the music from your phone will play through the speakers as well as telephone and google maps.. The added bonus that i did not realise is that you can do all this with out having to connect the device to your phone via a usb cable. It connects via Bluetooth such an amazing gadget. You only have to connect usb cable hen charging the phone. So for £11 it is well worth it and would highly recommend Saved buying a new head unit and ruining the look of an old classic.

Reasonable Bluetooth Transmitter
I’ve had this Bluetooth Transmitter for just under two years and still works reasonably well. Pros: Easy to install and set up with your device (I had an Apple 7 then an Apple SE2/2020). Links with your phone automatically when you insert it into a 12V port/cigarette lighter. Cons: Volume suffers a loss by 10-25%. Can pick up “hissing” noise due to interference. Worth buying but be prepared for trade off in volume.

Very useful product
This is a great product and works really well. It is simple to just plug in and tune into your car radio. The sound is very clear and crisp and connected to my phone very quickly. It also has a charging port so you don't run your phone battery down! It also rings out loud if your phone rings which is useful. I like this product a lot as you can easily swap it between cars and there is no need for lots of leads!

Inconsistent quality, great customer service
Super easy to install and get set up and will automatically start playing from your phone when you get into the car and start the engine. I had some serious issues with sound quality and static and background noise but increasing the unit volume to max (turn the knob) helped with some of that. For me, the biggest issue is access to the device when it is plugged in -in my car (Mazda) the location of the cigarette lighter is at the bottom of the front console, right in front of the gear stick and it is snugly set into the space. This means attaching anything to the unit is impossible but even more so, it is very difficult to change tracks, it would almost be easier doing it on my phone, if it weren't illegal! The unit should really use the car's own track changers to do the job, now that would be practical! I was offered a full refund on the product upon expressing dissatisfaction, which is the main reason for three stars, the product itself does not warrant them. Going by other negative reviews, I am not holding high hopes on the longevity of the device but here's hoping.

Consigliato!!!
