Easy for a novice.
I am a new printer & just learning how to screen print. I had an old design but didn’t want to destroy the stretcher so I did some research & found this emulsion. I watched a YouTube video to find out exactly how to remove the emulsion. The best technique I found was to spray both sides of the screen, gently rub it around with a sponge & wait a few minutes. I test sprayed an area with a garden hose & it started coming off. This was the second time in my life I have used emulsion remover & it worked great. If someone as novice as I am can use this product correctly, then anyone can. Great stuff!

Pretty Darn Good
I'm not sure what the deal is with some of the "canned" rating scales amazon fired at me: Warmth? Okay... not really relevant. But here's the scoop: I would have given this five starts but I can't. It is a great product, much more env. friendly than alternatives on the marked. When I tested it on two 200 mesh screens. One coated in multiple coats of Ecotex PRW and one with a single coat of Speedball's photo emulsion (and a few splotches of screen filler). Result two will shock you! The Ecotex melted off like it was nothing! The Speedball stuff I still can't get to break down. The Screen filler broke away fairly easily, but after multiple treatments I think I am just going to cut out the screen (handmade wooden frame) and replace it with one I will coat in Ecotex. This stuff says it will work on any type of photo emulsion... but maybe that is not entirely the case. Either way, I am really happy with the Ecotex PRW emulsion and wont be using the Speedball product anymore, but I can't give this emulsion remover 5/5 since it is not exactly as advertized.

Wow after spending hours stubbing screens with another cleaner I decided to give this one a try. WOW was this SOOO easy to use!! Very low odor and was fast and easy to use. Spray on and rinse off. I barely used a sponge! Don’t waste your time or energy with other cleans!

Works amazing AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
This made really quick work of 7 screens that I inherited! You really need to make sure that you work very quickly though. The instructions say not to let the spray sit for more then 60 seconds or the emulsion will fuse to the screen: but I say work more quickly then that even. Quickly spray front and back and then use the wide spray on your pressure washer to get the solvent off (and most comes off with those first few swipes) then you can switch to the more concentrated strong stream to get everything else off. The photo shows what happens when you take your time. The one on top is how most of them turned out, the one on bottom is what happened when my dad distracted me by laying into his car horn behind me in the driveway. Didn't distract me too long, but long enough that the stuff on the bottom would not come off at point blank range with the highest pressure setting and more sprays of the solvent. Thankfully it's fixable! I'll just use that screen for a smaller design and put new emulsion over it. Overall highly reccomend!
