The Best for the Discerning (and Value-Oriented) Pen Connoisseur.
This pen is by far-and-away the best ballpoint-type of pen I've used.Up until recently, I was doing a lot of writing at work that involved writing on 3 layer carbon copy paper. The Papermate Flexgrip Ultra in medium point worked well for that purpose. However, it required a bit more writing effort on single sheets of paper. The Pilot G2 required just too much effort on the carbon copy paper but was extremely smooth on single-sheet paper.Enter the Jetstream Sport RT, Fine Point. The ink does not smear like roller balls and dries more quickly than gel ink.Writing effort is only slightly worse than gel-based pens, and far superior to standard ballpoint ink.The pen is relatively inexpensive, which makes it less painful when it gets lost. The 0.7 mm fine point effectively splits the difference between the Sharpie-like 1.0 mm "Bold" line and the potentially scratchy 0.5 mm point. The length and balance of the pen is perfect. (I bought a Pentel Energel Alloy RT and plunked a Jetstream cartridge in it to try and dress things up a bit, but I still find myself coming bck to this pen.)The only weak points are that over time, the clip will break off or the threaded part of the barrel will crack off at the base. This has only happened after getting enough mileage out of the pen use a refill; it's acceptable for a $2 plastic pen. There is occasional blobbing but not enough to be: 1) noticeable or 2) a dealbreaker.I ordered these pens from Japan-based vendors and they showed up quickly, as advertised, and with no drama. Very highly recommend.

One of the best pens ever made
I am a bit of a Pen enthusiast. This is best pen I have found. Very very smooth ballpoint. It writes like a gel pen, but this does not leak and wont smear if exposed to water like a gel pen will.I have tried many highly rated/liked pens including Uniball Signo and Pilot G Tec 4.This is still the best. Try it out.

Ball point feel without the smearing!
Best pens ever! I use them for all things that need to be hand written

Thin, Consistant
Super impressive pen for the price. Writes very finely so keep that in mind. Some people have said it has the flow of a gel pen and that is accurate but a tad deceiving. The flow is consistent like a gel pen but puts out much less ink. I love it but keep that in mind.

Disappointed Left-Handed Customer
I bought these because they are recommended for left-handers. While they are one of the better pens I have used in my lifetime, they still have the same issues I usually have with pens: they do not write quite smoothly. Ballpoint pens and left-handers are not meant to be, I guess. The ink could also be a bit darker, but the overall design is good.If you are a fellow disappointed left-hander, I recently got these Zebra Sarasas and so far so good. It certainly helps that the packaging even says "Lefty Preferred":Zebra Sarasa Rapid Dry Ink Gel Retractable Pen, 0.7mm, Black, 5 Pack (46855)

Same ink as RT version; Made in JAPAN
Pros:- cheap: left my pen on the countertop and now its gone? not a problem =)- made in Japan- says MITSUBISHI on it: cue in some Initial D music- lighter than the RT version and center balanced- plastic higher quality than the RTsCons:- feels cheaper than RT- RT version looks betterImpression: Get it because you know your colleagues will steal your pens

Im an ophthalmic scribe and these are my favorite pens!
I write for at least 6 hours a day - documenting histories, test results and diagnoses for my ophthalmologist. I always keep two or more of these in my scrub pocket. The tip makes writing pleasant and smooth. Jetstreams are my absolute favorite, and my coworkers keep stealing them to write with. These are also not generally sold in stores so it is easy to decipher from other usually blue cased jetstreams if you care about your pens getting mixed up with someone else's at work.

STOP LOOKING THIS IS IT
for my job I wrote lots of double sheets. This ball pan is the best one I ever use. Dark, clear, fast dry, comfortable handing. Only one disadvantage is my colleagues love to take this pan from me so I keep buying it.
