Excellent way to save on filters
For a long time, I resisted getting a step-up ring with such a large span, 58-82mm. I was afraid it would be unwieldy and would make the lenses I intended it for look like space ships. But it has turned out to be very practical and easy to use. I do a lot of outdoor portraiture augmented by strobe. So, neutral density filters are a must. This ring allows me to use for still photos the same ND filters I use on cine lenses. I wouldn't do street photography with such a large flat-top on the end of the lens. It would catch people's attention. But for outdoor portraits, it's great.

Seems well made but I can't use it
The media could not be loaded. Solid metal, well coated. Flat Black. Seems very well made. Unfortunately I got the wrong one. This adapter is designed to put a 72 mm filter on an 82 mm lens. I wanted the other way around. I think that putting a smaller filter on a bigger lens might cause problems with vignetting.

It’s always great to save money. This allows you to buy your filters in one size, and use them on additional size lenses. When buying an expensive ND filter this is a great money saver.

Fit is Spot On
This is an unusual adapter that goes from 82mm to 67mm and for my camera it's been spot on in terms of fit. Didn't want to crossthread or stick when screwing on: simply spun on easily. Decent adapter.

Good quality at good price
I got a new camera and was looking for different equipment to use and adapt my lens to my new camera. It fits great in my camera, and I now have more choices and can adjust more lenses. In addition, this ring is at a reasonable price.

Defective product
The box says 82mm to 77mm step-down, but the ring delivered fit neither the filter nor the lens. A complete waste of time.

Tan útil que vas a olvidar que tu lente lo lleva puesto.
Lo saqué de la bolsa y se lo instalé cuidadosamente al lente de mi cámara y luego de haberlo utilizado sentí que lo había perdido pues su presencia es tan útil que no te darás cuenta que está allí, creo que esa es la mejor funcionalidad y calificación que puede tener un adaptador de cualquier tipo. Altamente recomendable. Yo lo compré para adaptarle el supermacro Raynox dcr 250 y funciona de maravilla.
