S2-S65 - Next-Generation S-Series 6.5" Coaxial Speaker Set

Great speaker great bass

I replaced the factory speakers in my 1995 Ford Bronco with these Alpine S2-S65 speakers and couldn’t be happier. Installation was easy and straightforward, and they fit perfectly without any issues. The sound quality is a huge upgrade—clear, balanced, and much fuller than the old speakers. Highs are crisp, mids are solid, and overall volume is impressive without distortion. If you’re looking for an easy speaker upgrade that delivers excellent sound quality, these are a great choice. Highly recommended.

Get these speakers or any other size that works for you. I put these in my truck ten years ago and they still sound great. Good base and mid as well. I put the 6 1/2 in my Bronco and they perform great. Getting the four inch for the dash, can't wait. I give them all a 10+ rating.

It’s ok I might have to add a tweeter to it but it does the job

The Alpine s65 are nice addition to their entry level line. They can handle a ton of power and will add great highs and mids to your set up. One not is you will need to purchase the grills separately if your set up has them exposed.

This was not an audiophile installation. I needed to replace the blown out stock JBL speakers in my 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser. I didn’t want to upgrade the whole system as it had an integrated HVAC / Radio / Nav system. So I pulled the trigger and purchaced these hoping they would work. I also had no intention of bypassing the factory amp. Installation was a breeze and they have performed very well given the system I attached them to. I can imagine that they are limited by that setup but for me they just work and produce a better range and sound. Of course coming from the blown speakers anything would have been an improvement

Needs an amp to get it right. Speaker is a good quality. Music ok but podcast is lower end muddy. Same with audiobook. Like I said, needs an amp.
