I’m an adherent of supplemental usage, both as a means of maintaining overall well-being by an intake of daily vitamins and minerals as a dietary supplement, and, when needed, medicinally, as a naturopathic approach to healing and overall physiological support during illness. All of which is to say that I take a keen interest in the subject of self-healing and nourishment through naturopathic means.Researched Nutritional Myc-P supplement is one of the more interesting I’ve come across in a while, and as the seller asserts, one of the more targeted. Essentially, at least as I take it after a careful study of Myc-Ps included ingredients, is that it is designed to rebalance the bodies microbiome. In a healthy body pathogenic and symbiotic microbiota coexist, however if that balance becomes disturbed, by an unhealthy diet, illness or any number of causes, dysbiosis occurs, leaving the body susceptible to disease. If you imagine a tug-of-war between symbiotic microbiota and pathogens, in a balanced system there would be no movement, their strengths would be equal. However, if the symbiotic side weakens, or the pathogenic side gains strength, the body becomes susceptible.Before taking any new supplement, and in fact I haven’t taken the Myc-P supplement yet, I research each and every ingredient for a couple of reasons. One, to cross check that I am not duplicating something I am already getting from another source, and two, to determine, based on the ingredients, whether the they are useful as a supplement or a medicinally, that is, something to be used for a specific indication. In the case of the Researched Nutritional's Myc-P Microbial Support, that draws from a rich history of natural medicine modalities, including American Indian, Chinese and Ayurvedic, it has, in my opinion, a specific indication. It even states on the bottle “Available only through Healthcare Professionals.” It would behoove anyone interested to do their own research to determine if this product is right for your needs. For example, there are ingredients included that are not recommended for long term use.That said, as an aggregate, the included constituents in the Myc-P fully support the sellers stated assertions as to their benefits of immune support and general organ detoxification. Also, the bioactive compounds are extracted through and held in an alcohol base, that in my experience provides the greatest efficacy, especially when administered sublingually; I use alcohol exclusively when making my own tinctures. Many of Researched Nutritionals stated benefits have scientific research to back them up.Researched Nutritional’s suggested dosage is 40 drops, but they don’t indicate how often. They also advise to “start slowly,” implying to start with a lessor dosage. The ingredients are stated to be wildcrafted, which generally yields a higher potency herb. If you or your consulting healthcare professional determine that a rebalancing of your microbiome is the best course of action, then the Research Nutritional’s Myc-P supplement, as the seller states, appears targeted to just that end.

I take it for help with Digestion - cleanses digestive tract to help with gut issue.Sida Acuta - wire-weed, which helps with headaches, diabetes, gut ulcersHouttuynia - which is anti-inflammatoryChinese Skullcap - which helps with headaches, allergies, anti-inflammatoryBearberry - Bears love this berry. Helps cleans urinary tractSince this is loaded with different effective ingredients, it should be taken on its own and not mix with other supplements.Adult dosing is 40 drops per day (that's a lot of drops to count) which makes this bottle last about 2 months. Not sure why drops instead of a serving cap.Almost $21ounce, this is an expensive supplement but it seems to be of the highest quality.

(Not sure how that comes out to 80 drops in a day.)* Instructions on the Amazon page but not on the bottle say to:1. "Take 45 minutes before or 2 hours after eating. If you are taking other herbal tinctures, microbial support or herbal detox products, we recommend taking them in a different cup of water and wait 15 minutes between products."2. "As with other immunity supplement or herbal detox tincture products, start slowly."* I like my supplement bottles to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, third-party tested, and Made in USA. I'm not clear if these are made in the USA, produced in a GMP-certified facility, or third-party tested, though the Amazon page says "Research Nutritionals publishes peer-reviewed clinical research on several of our products." (Those criteria make me feel more confident about what I'm putting into my body.)* The cost of $79.20 for 60 servings might stretch many budgets. (I would love to have the option of having this on Subscribe and Save.)**As always, results can vary from person to person. Consulting a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement is advisable.

It is important when taking herbs such as these to know what you are doing and take under the referral of an herbalist or other practitioner. These blends by RN are amazing and very specific and specialized, so giving a review is truly on a case by case basis, but these are wonderful formulas that can be used safely and with excellent results. I know this is very vague, but unless you have an ailment that calls for these herbs I would say consult with someone trained.

The product which isn’t cheap. Arrived completely smashed. Though I know these things can happen the seller does not allow refunds or replacements so I lost the money which is completely unfair. Really bad customer care. Highly disappointing
