I got this 10 watt version today. I was concerned it might not be bright enough for a 20ft pool. I gave it 5 stars for value, ease of installation , sufficient lighting and functionality. I just took it out the box, attached magnetically to the side of the pool and plugged it in. I downloaded the DuoCo Strip app and connected with my phone . Imo One light gives plenty of light for my 20 ft round pool. I attached pictures of the solid white and blue light setting. I also set the on/off schedule so I don't have to worry about it . Many different lighting functions available through the app too. Now if we just get some more summer nights above 70° or least above the low sixties, that would be nice.

We got the Round 2023 Version, it's White with a white or light gray power cord. The kit comes with a powerful glue which I did not use on my 22' Round x 52" deep Vinyl above ground pool. For me the steel plate that the light assembly magnetically sticks to from inside the pool holds in place till someone kicks the light.. then the steel plate drops to the sand. Luckily the pool has a wide band outside squeezing the pool.. the steel plate slips in there and stays put outta sight. It's a Bluetooth interface and must be operated from it's own App installed on your tablet, phone, etc. Anyone with the App and within range can control The Light, there's no account or passwords.. just the App and Bluetooth. Several people can all do it simultaneously.. but that's not a feature! The App has the standard color wheel with every color and some solid color presets, brightness control, on/off. Then it gets into Styles with a bunch of choices, 'green gradual change', 'seven color strobe flash', 'three color cross fade' Etc.. too many to list here. While running a Style you also have Speed and Brightness sliders. There's also a Music option that is loaded with ten songs which I only tested, I don't see an option to play your own music. The light strobes and color changes with the music playing. There's also a Microphone option where it strobes to your voice, and lastly in the App is a generic Scheduler where you can schedule On days of the week, and only one On time, and same with Off, only one Off time and Off days of the week. So far it's been great! I love the glow at night, one light evenly lights up my 22' pool. I have to turn it down to about 10% when were not in the pool 'cause it too darn bright! Attracts the June Bugs :-) I like blue the best, yellow is kinda funky, red is really red and white is really white. Seems overpriced at the check-stand, but it's performing perfectly. We love it!

We have a fountain with a water spout and glass block enclosure in front of our house. This light is a nice, inexpensive alternative for lighting the fountain. It looks great from the street and is an impressive low-cost property improvement. We just dropped it into the fountain and plugged it into a nearby outlet. The phone app was easy to install and was up and running immediately. We can control the lighting effects from our phone inside our house. Now we'll just have to wait and see how long it lasts, but for now, we're very pleased.

Short and sweet. A fantastic light that holds up to the reviews. Like many others, the installed LED pool lights died after 7 years and the quotes to replace to the pool system were north of $1000. There were 3 original in ground pool lights (deep, middle, shallow). I have tried the battery operated ones and they leak and are not very bright. I purchased the two light system and placed both in the deep end. They tie into a single transformer that connects via 110V. Installed during the day. quick and easy but was skeptical of the brightness since i had to put them both in the deep end of the pool. Come nightfall i was truly amazed. I kid you not, they lighted the pool so much better then the high end installed lighting. The phone app allows for so many options as well as rightness because with certain colors it is almost too bright. Highly recommend

Saw this light reviewed on YouTube (by Life Less Ordinary) and it looked great. I bought the 10 watt light and it really lights up my 22-foot Coleman pool at night, so much that it shows through the sides! Plenty bright all the way across it, although I would recommend a second light or the 20 watt if you have anything larger. The app is easy to use and makes customizing or switching scenes easy. But I prefer just the multicolor cross fade. The magnet is strong enough to hold the light in place, but not so strong that you have to force the light off the wall. But do not try to pull the light off by the cord. It’s easy to pop it off by the light housing. And the cord is long enough to place the light almost anywhere around the pool. With the lighted fountain and this light, my pool looks great at night!

I can use the app on my phone but will not stay connected unless outside by the pool. otherwise the light is great, single white 20w. plenty bright for 18x52 round pool unless on red, then could use 2 lights. Otherwise other colors are bright and light up pool and backyard in trees above the pool. Just wanted a remote not just the app as they crash, wont connect etc..

Absolutely must buy! I was very hesitant as there are a lot of these lights to choose from but I cannot street enough how happy I am with this!!!!! It's so bright (I have the 20W) and the app is super slick. It is wayyyy better than the old LED lights I used to have. My pool is 24' above ground and it lights up every inch and adds so much ambiance to our pool deck area. This thing just made my summer! 😁 1000% highly recommended 👌

Apparaat is makkelijk in te stellen en geeft een leuk effect in het zwembad. Meerdere kleuren en voldoende licht voor een zwembad van 244x400. 1 minpunt, de magneet die ervoor moet zorgen dat de lamp op z’n plek blijft is te zwak met magnetische kracht. Zelf heb ik er een krachtigere voor gekocht en nu blijft het prima op z’n plek.

i wanted to wait with my review to see if these survive the winter in Montreal :). so far so good :) very night lights. i installed them into an in ground pool on top of the niches from the original GloBright lights. very nice lights, working as expected and provides good ambiance.
