Fresh & Save CUBE 3-pc XS Spice Container Set

I have some of this companies, other vacuum seal products and Am pleased with their function. These spice containers were a new item for me and they were perfectly. I like that my spices can now be vacuum sealed and last longer and are all in attractive identical containers not cheap but worth the investment as spices or not inexpensive and can deteriorate if left in contact with air for long periods. My entire spice collection now utilizes these containers. I have over 50 of them and I’m very pleased.

I really like Zwilling products and these are good. The only drawback is they don't hold the vacuum seal for a long time, other then that I'm happy with my purchase.

Great design, plus they are smaller than they look!

At this point every single one of the Zwilling fresh and save cubes we've bought (whether they be these plastic ones, the bigger plastic ones, or the thick sandblasted/matte plastic ones), every single one of them has developed cracks in either the walls or the top. We have only ever used the Zwilling fresh & save vacuum, we never run the vacuum more than once, and yet still every single one of these has cracked. Save your money, we really, really regret buying into this system -- we've now got more than 15 cracked containers.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love the Zwilling lines of vacuum food storage - be it the glass one for the fridge, or this one for dry ingredients. I have an embarrassing quantity of them. I bought these little spice jars because I'm tired of spices losing all their flavor - and clumping in some cases. I also like to ground some of them myself, like coriander or cumin, so I needed good jars. The good: - I love the size. The form factor is ok, I'd prefer if they were round, but that's just me. Them being square does make them look very neat when stacked or aligned together. - They come with a sprinkler cap. The not-so-good: - They don't hold the vacuum as well as the bigger jars. I have to reseal them often. - The sprinkler cap prevents a good vacuum. Either the pump runs until it times out, or it stops right away. Even if I keep the sprinkler open. Which makes sense considering the design of the insert. - The diffusers are a very good idea for powdery things. But again, it prevents the pump from actually pumping the air out, and when it somehow does, the jar will lose the seal within a few hours. It's worth noting that the issues above are the same (or worse) when using the spoon insert (on all size jars). I now keep the little spoon outside the jars. tl;dr - I like them, I love the system, and I will keep the spice jars even if the vacuum part isn't working as it should. I probably won't buy more, though.

I was looking for something that would help me not get the labels wet so I can wash the containers.

Just starting using the ZWILLING fresh and save and also began using the smaller ones for my spices. Love the compact size and will start repackaging all my spices to keep them fresher as I don’t always use some spices as often as others and hated the feeling of knowing my spices maybe weren’t as fresh as others. So far they seem to hold the seal just fine - will monitor over time and update my review as needed. I have not experienced any of the issues others have - of course you need to ensure the rim is clean before sealing others or you won’t get a good seal.

La calidad de los materiales es excelente, las paredes son gruesas y la silicona de los sellos tiene una sensación de silicona de alta calidad y mantiene el vacío sin problema, solo debes de cuidar: 1- los alimentos que tienen a fermentar y/o calientes o tibios, ya que generan vapor y/o gases y por lo mismo hacen que se iguale la presión interna con la externa (lo que se traduce en la pérdida del vacío) 2- que el bordo del recipiente (que toca con los empaques de la tapa) estén limpios por que de lo contrario puede generar microscópicas filtraciones que después de unos días hace que pierda el vacio (me pasó cuando guardé un preparado de sal, quedó sal en el borde, y la pérdida de vacío se solucionó limpiando la sal residual del borde del recipiente)

The rubber gaskets need to be wiped cleaned frequently to keep the vacuum in place. It would have been better if they had made a larger perforated disk with a ‘no pass’, solid section to prevent any season from spilling and splashing about. This would keep the lid clean as it is moved around. I currently use a an empty container around and frequently swap out the lid after each use, to allow the soiled lid to be cleaned and air dried.
