Handy, Compact
My first reaction when I took this small manual food chopper out of the package was to say it was lousy timing - had it arrived 45 minutes earlier, I could have used it to chop the green peppers and onions to put on the kielbasa sandwiches I'd made for dinner. I washed it, made a spot for it in a kitchen drawer (not hard because it's so small) and figured I'd use it soon.A couple of days later, ingredients for pasta salad called its name. I pulled it out and - to my great disappointment - the lid simply wouldn't come off. I tried and tried, my husband tried and tried, and finally, I determined it to be a lost cause and set it aside to be thrown away. In a last-minute rescue effort, I tried a couple more times (nobody will ever say I'm not determined), and suddenly, something gave and it unscrewed! Alas, it wasn't until I'd already chopped the salad stuff, but at least I know if it sticks next time, patience is the key (plus more than a little elbow grease). And a day later I used it, and not surprisingly, it works great. It comes apart for easy cleaning (well, once you get that pesky lid off), but be very, very careful handling that blade because it's razor sharp. It'll take on harder foods like nuts and even meat, although grinding is a bit more difficult (on this one, you hold the container in one hand while you rotate the bottom section with the other). It also comes with a plastic paddle that can be used for mixing liquids, eggs or other soft substances. Very handy gadget.

Handy kitchen tool that works
It takes a little getting used to and you have to hold the top while rolling it on the counter since it won't lock as it should or else it will open and spill everything on the counter or your kitchen floor. Once you get a hang of it, rolling it will get easier but it takes some effort. Overall, it does what it's supposed to do and I had no problem chopping onion, cucumber and or tomatoes but had a little difficulty chopping parsley & mint. My only issue is that it's very small & that limits what you can use it for. For example, making salad for two is pushing it but if you're chopping onions, garlic individually to add it to your food, it does the job albeit there are simpler/cheaper tools that you can use to make bigger portion than you can with this one. Also you have to watch out not to roll it too much as your ingredient will become mushy unless you're making a sauce/soup. Cleaning it is rather simple as the blade slides out and you can just rinse and dry it.Again, this device does what it's supposed to do, but it's not that easy to work with and it's only meant for small portion & as the blades get dull, it may get tossed out in the garbage as I didn't see any spare part for it advertised anywhere.

Nice idea but could be designed differently
This is a neat concept but it could benefit from design improvement.- It is for a single person food portion.- The device feels OK with the handle.- The overall device is not too difficult to set up or switch from chopper to beater.- May be OK for camping as back-up.Now, what really could be done to improve.- You have to pre-chop whatever you are going to put in there. Carrots or onion or whatever. If you have to do that and you already have a knife out, what not finishing it up with a nice. faster and cleaner,- If you want to chop small pieces, you have to shake the chopper plenty of time as it will mostly slice not chop by default. So you have to find an inclination that will move the slices around to be chopped.- Cleaning it neatly is a bit of a pain as the silicon base as some spaces to allow the spinning and these get filled with debris or stagnant washing water. So in short, the idea is neat but the daily usage is too much work. I'll stick to my Chef knives.

Compact and clever
The media could not be loaded. This little chopper is good for small chop jobs, like salsa for one or chopped eggs for egg salad sandwich, or chopping some veggies for a salad. It also come with a little whipper blade, to whip cream, scramble eggs, maybe even mix hollandaise. My only issue with it, as a senior who had carpal tunnel surgery, is that opening is a little difficult at this time. I'm hoping it will become easier as I use it more often. This is a nice, space saving device. Perfect for small kitchens and RVs.

Easy to use, Easy to clean
The Manual Food Chopper Vegetable Cutter - Garlic Onion Processor Hand Chopper for Kitchen arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. The chopper and accompanying accessories appear to be well made of good quality materials. The accompanying directions were very helpful in learning how all the parts fit together. Once I read the instructions, I was able to easily use the blade for onions, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. as well as the beater on foods like eggs, or salad dressing. I have a large blender/slicer/mixer, but it's bulky and kind of a pain to setup when you only need a small amount of item. This chopper is manual, but very efficient. It took only a few quick turns back and forth to chop onions. I really like this chopper because it is small, simple to use, and it easy to clean. I would wholeheartedly recommend this chopper to family and friends.

Great in concept
I was so excited to try this. It comes with a set of blades and a beater. The lid seems to latch on, but as soon as you start rolling, it comes off! The only way I can successfully use this product is twisting it back and forth in my hands, which defeats the point of rolling it on the counter. The lid needs a better locking mechanism and the rolling feature needs some work. I will stick to my whisks and knives for now.

I took this camping for 4 days and it worked great! I used it to make salsa twice, chop veggies and deli meat for eggs, and it was super simple to use and clean. Highly recommend.

Nice little tool.
This manual food chopper is easy to use and it works great and fast. Is also easy to clean, the only thing for me is the lid. The lid is a little bit difficult to open and close, other than that is a great tool to have in the kitchen.
