GREAT LADDER
This is a game changer !! What a great product. This ladder is really great! After you use it a few times, you can't wait to get it out again. Very easy to use(common senses) and takes up very little room to store. I weigh in at 185lbs. and this ladder is very stable with me up around 13' The factory black finish is also done right. You won't regret this purchase.

Easy to handle!
It looks like a very nice ladder. This will be much easier to move than traditional extension ladders. The mechanism appears to work really well new. The important item will be how low the individual section locks hold up.

Shaky but does the job.
Boy did I agonize over ladders. I have this insanely old (came with the house, and we've been here for 25 years) super heavy straight ladder that is almost impossible to use. I needed to hang some outdoor cameras and after struggling with that ladder decided I needed something else, even though I hadn't for 25 years. Trying to decide between a telescoping ladder and an extension ladder, and the huge price swings between all models, was daunting. I was very much warned that a telescoping ladder will feel unsteady because ... well, it has to. It is just a series of interlocking internal pipes and clasps. So for what this is, its perfectly fine. I would definitely recommend someone hold the bottom while you go up, even if you are going to use the hooks. I am not sure the hooks are worth the extra payment, and I haven't even used them. If you follow the instruction on the ladder, you probably won't lose a finger closing it. The ladder is very clear when it says to grasp the sides of the ladder with your hand, and push the two buttons with your thumbs. While it will come crashing down, 1 step at a time, your hands will be nowhere near the pinch point. So as long as you can follow those simple instructions, you should be fine. Of course, YMMV. So for price vs height vs functionality, I am happy with this purchase. I would just note that it is much heavier than you might think it is. The videos will show people happily carrying this around. Yes, but it is heavier than it is made out to be.

Stable, Spacious & Conveniently Compact
The BOCOM 12.5 ft Aluminum Telescoping Ladder delivers solid stability, robust construction, and practical portability—making it well-suited for home and mobile use (like our RVs). It's a strong mid-range ladder worth considering if you're looking for reliable performance without a premium price. Just be sure to check each rung locks securely and adjust fit as needed. Portable enough to slide in the underbelly of our camper. Loved it so much, purchased a second one for my in-laws to have in their camper. Should order another for our home use. They are lightweight and easy to use.

Good for Short Heights, but Unstable Beyond 10 Feet
I bought this telescoping ladder after doing a lot of research. It’s well-made, fairly lightweight, and easy to carry and store. The telescoping feature works smoothly, and the build feels solid for lower heights. However, once you extend it beyond around 10 feet, it starts to feel a bit shaky and unstable, especially if you’re standing near the top. Even with the triangle stabilizers, it’s not as steady as a regular extension ladder. It’s fine for indoor use or quick jobs around the house, but I wouldn’t recommend it for high outdoor work. Overall, it’s okay for light use, but stability drops off the higher you go.
