This pump works well and has saved me more money than I paid for it. if it works as well next year it will be amazing.

Replaced my Harris pump which died and found this as an affordable option with fast shipping. So far so good and I love the fact there is an on/ off switch with variable speeds low and high. It’s a steal of a price with those options alone. Pretty simple install and really quiet compared to the other models I have used. I also invested in the aftermarket warranty just in case but seems to be working well and I have no complaints.

The pump it’s very quiet and it moves a lot of water in the high setting . The lower setting it’s plenty to move enough water through a 12” sand filter with a handy valve connected to a 1” irrigation pipe for solar power heating that it’s about 120 feet of pipe in a circle, my pools heats up to 90 degrees . I have a 2500 gallons above ground pool for the kids . I use a timer to power the pump on and off and I had no issues with the plug . The change over adaptors to connect other hoses aren’t that great, I would recommend buying another type to avoid headaches . Overall it’s a well made pump and easy to clean the skimmer .

I knew I was going to need a new pump this spring so I got one of these at the end of January. In early March I got around to installing it. I did a start up and everything seemed fine. I was doing a lot of work around the pool and didn’t open it until yesterday, May 3rd. Started fine and ran fine until 11:30 PM when my program had it slow to 1150 RPM. I got an E300 error and it had shut down. This morning I did some troubleshooting and it gives an error whenever the speed is below 1500. So I have a quieter than average single speed pump at the cost of a variable speed. What a deal! I’m well past the 30 days, even though I only ran it for one. Decided to go to the seller. Guess what, no warranty. I don’t recall having ever made a worse purchase. I originally gave it one star, then bumped it up to two. I‘ve taken it back down to one. It did not perform as promised from the first day. Which is why I gave it a two. About once a week no I am having to increase its speed because it’s losing its capacity to run at lower speeds. I contacted Extremepowerusa for help. They did respond, but their answer was pretty much let us know if you figure anything out and we will improve future generations. I went to their store and saw mostly cheap knock offs of decent products. I can safely say that I will never purchase anything that they are selling again. The pump is degrading. I seriously doubt it will last the season.

This pump is about 1/3 the price of the Hayward pump it replaced and fortunately for me, it has the same size fittings in the same location as the Hayward pump which made replacing it quick and easy. The pump is running fine so far so lets compare it to the Hayward it replaced. The size and fittings between them is the same in both size and location, and as said above, makes it a fairly easy replacement. The mounting plate is not exactly the same and required me to drill new holes in the filter base to mount it but that is not a big deal to me The Hayward pump assembly is heavier than this one and and since the pump itself looks about the same, most of the added weight is in the motor. I would say that the Hayward motor is a heavier duty motor. The motor on this unit runs warm but not hot in low speed and cooler on high speed, probably due to the motors fan moving more air on high speed. The Hayward probably moves a bit more water than this pump in both speeds but really not enough to cut this pump down for it. Sound wise, they are about the same with this one slightly louder on low speed and slightly quieter on high. Either way, this pump runs quietly enough not to disturb anyone. The one true downside to this pump is its lack of real warranty. The only real warranty it has is Amazons return policy and the tag in the box actually says to deal with the seller for short term issues. They do offer a 1 year extended warranty but for most of us, it is completely useless. In order to activate it, you need to have the pump professionally installed. The price to have this done in many cases can wind up costing as much as the pump itself. If the pump does fail within this extended warranty, you need to send it shipping prepaid to the manufacturer. This means that you have to pay for shipping both ways. The cost of both the install and the shipping both ways would more than exceed the cost of just buying a new pump so effectively, there is no warranty past the Amazon return / exchange window. I honestly don't expect this pump to last as long as the Hayward pump it is replacing but at 1/3 the price, if it lasts half as long, it is still a bargain. If it fails before the season is over, I will update this review but as for now, it is doing what it was bought to do.

On low this motor pulls 250 watts, and on high it's about 650. My old motor pulled close to 1000, and didn't pump as much water as this on low! The build quality seems excellent. The pump pressure is not than sufficient on low to push water through my hand filter, giving us the water clarity you expect in a pool. Overall, it's an excellent buy so far and performs great for 1/3 the cost of my old Hayward!

I thought i would leave a review to get some feedback started on this pump. This same pump is being sold for about 30% more $ at a major online pool supply seller. I just installed last week so this is short term. the pump was packed well and arrived in good shape. it replaced a 1 hp single speed and went right in place with no major pipe work.i am running 24/7 on eco at 1500 rpm. it is quiet on eco. you need to be standing over the pump to hear it running. when on boost setting i would say it sounds like a standard pump. At this point, for the price i would not hesitate to make this purchase again. UPDATE! After about 3 weeks the pump started starting and stopping intermittently. I have returned the pump and asked for a refund. I keep my pool open year round and I cant trust the pump to run as it needs to during freezing temos.

Je cherchais une pompe silencieuse... J'ai été comblé Son option 2 vitesses... Très très apprécié Le bruit (db) est différent à mes oreilles, mais pas plus fort quelque soit la vitesse choisie Piscine hors-terre 15 pi, contrôle de l'eau dans la norme Merciii...

tres bonne pompe pour piscine et surtout le prix je vais voir comment d annee elle va marcher pour l instant elle fonctionne tres bien et j aime ca les deux vitesses avec ca elle est assez silencieuse tres bon achat

Llegó en tiempo y muy bien empacado. funciono bien unas 2 veces , luego entro en modo de protección. solo daba algunas vueltas y se detenia. se conecto a un interruptor GFCI con la coneccion am tierra fisica indicada.
