I have been using this supplement for my 10 yr old Australian Shepherd for about a year. It is by far the best joint supplement I have found. Hands down beats the top brands in the industry. I have a lot of experience with veterinary joint supplements in dogs and horses and this one is an excellent choice for my dog. She experiences fewer "ouchy" moments when exercising, is no longer stiff when she gets up, goes up and down stairs easier and is generally more comfortable. These do not irritate her sensitive stomach and she willingly eats them. The price is also much better than a lot of the more popular joint supplements. Don't let the price fool you. This is a more effective and more affordable option that the more familiar name brands!

I have a 10 year-old Beagle. The vet said he definitely has arthritis. He was crying most of the day from pain. His hind legs had the shakes. He could not jump into his usual spot on the couch. He could not get into the car without help. I carried him up and down the steps. Touching him cause him to yelp and cry. ALL DAY LONG. He would also wake me up in the middle of the night with random yelps and cries from pain. His walks slowed down drastically. He was no longer his crazy, hyper-energetic self. And he looked miserable. We were all miserable. The vet offered an $85 injection for pain that would have only lasted 24 hours. Not helpful. Then they wanted $299 for blood tests before giving him an RX for pain medication , which started at $130 and went up from there per month. Also not helpful. I love my dog, but i also have to eat. I opted for the Gallivant prescription, , which made him lose his appetite completely and vomit everywhere. I cut the dose in half and he still vomited constantly. So I started looking for supplements and settled on Vetriscience Glycoflex 3, extra strength Healthy Hip and Joint Chews. It has Perna, glucosamine. MSM, DMG, and antioxidants. I swear by antioxidants for my personal health, so i was happy to see these ingredients. I ordered these hip and joint supplements on June 14. I don’t think we got them overnight, but within a few days. I started him on them immediately. I paired this supplement with something called Pain Plus Extra Strength, which is a health supplement for dogs by VetClassics. It has yucca, MSM, Bowsella and Meadowsweet. Today is June 30 and my dog is doing SO MUCH BETTER! He doesn’t cry anymore with the slightest touch. He jumps into the car, he jumps into his special place on the couch all by himself. He is jumping around like he did before, like he’s his old self again. The crying stopped. I can give him a massage, which he loves. without him crying in pain. We can sleep at night! HE can sleep at night. We are no longer on constant alert and explaining to strangers why the dog is yelping in pain on his walks. The light is back in his eyes!! These supplements are a miracle!! I have bought this numerous times over the years for my 11 year old lab. She has been on this product since she was 2 years old. She has duck hunted with us for years. At her peak she was retrieving 500 birds a season in a tough south Louisiana marsh environment. Now she tracks deer when needed. Her duck hunts are much easier as we wood duck hunt more often now. In comparison to other hunting dogs her age, she moves much better and not stiff like her peers. She can still easily jog a mile with out any issues. She does move slower than she used to but the difference is evident. She loves the taste. I fully think this product is great and will continue to use it for her. I also will be purchasing to start on any other hunting/working dog we will have.

We purchased the bacon flavored bits and our Great Dane loves them. She has been on them for several months now and has improved joint movements.

My dog loves them. The smell isn't great but they help him a ton and no side affects.

I have been using VetriScience products for many years. They do globally source their ingredients though. My dogs tolerate them very well and they look forward for their daily “treat”.

Glycoflex has been a staple in our house for 30+ years. My wife and I both compete in performance events - she does agility and I do flyball. We start our dogs with this daily once they begin to mature - typically 18-24 months for the rest of their lives. My Border Collies have all had long careers and have competed to 12 or 13 years old.

My dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia June 2024. She had knee surgery in 2022. She would stand up and limp and couldn’t walk up steps. I started giving her this along with fish oil and she doesn’t limp anymore and can walk up steps. She’s much more spry now. I was amazed!

Have been giving these to all 3 of my French bulldogs for years and I KNOW these work. Our vet said that the only ingredient that would help is the green lipped mussels…we decided to stop giving them to our dogs to see what would happen as they are quite expensive and we already have them on additional joint supplements (fish oil and green lipped mussels). Our 9 year old started to slow down quite a bit and we noticed his back legs started to lose some muscle tone. As soon as we restarted the GlycoFlex he got his puppy energy back and his back end has filled out nicely. We will never stop giving these to our dogs now. They are definitely worth the price and our dogs look forward to them every morning.

Update: After my persistence, my gal finally started eating the treat, 1 treat a day. I didn't start with the recommended initial dosage of 2 a day since she doesn't really enjoy it. After a recent outing with other dogs, my gal's hind leg was very very stiff. You can tell that she's somewhat in pain. So I increased the dosage to 2 per day, it seems to help her. After few days of higher dosage, she is moving normally again. So I guess it did helped my gal. My 12 years old siberian husky has osteoarthritis. Her hind legs were weak and stiff. Aren't as playful anymore. Based on reviews and recommendations, I decided to let my dog try it. I would love to give it a proper review, however my dog refused to eat it!! And I bought 2 bags!!

The product does just what it ssys

Couldn't get our dog to try them, hard to mask taste and not easily shredded or chopped to blend them. Not for dogs difficult to give meds to.
