Kids Learn to Knit

ho provato piu' volte a lavorare a maglia, ma sempre con estrema difficoltà nel momento in cui mi trovavo da sola. questo libro, scritto per i bambini, propone invece illustrazioni semplici da seguire ed qualche progetto per principianti (sciarpa, astuccio...). adesso lavoro regolarmente a maglia :-)

This is a great, easy to follow book for young or completely new knitters. There are large, step by step illustrations and the projects and small and simple which is great for younger, new knitters. I also recommend this book for adults who are completely new to knitting and would like to start with very basic, small and fast projects. This book would also be great for a parent and child that are learning to knit together.

An ideal book for young beginner knitters. Superb detailed instructions. With sufficient text to make it understandable for enquiring creative minds.

I'm afraid my 6 year old cousin lost interest almost immediately, but I absolutely wouldn't blame the book. It is very well written and clearly laid out, and she is still excited about the simple patterns. Unfortunately she wanted instant gratification and not something she'd have to work for XD We'll try again when she's a little older and/or less distracted. The only thing I didn't like was the cast-on chosen by the book, which seemed more simple but turned out to be a little too fussy for small hands, and not very nice to knit into, even when I tried it myself. I ended up showing her a more traditional cast-on which she actually found easier. The rest of the instructions and drawings are excellent

My granddaughter was thrilled with it.
