this does the job. It's simple which is what I needed. I actually "retrofitted" the existing light fixture and basically just used the shade. It doesn't look the best quality but for the price it's fine.

Great light fixture
I have now installed 12 of these between two houses. They are great for hallways and bedrooms. They give plenty of light are super easy to install and look great. I highly recommend them.

Easy to install and looks great
I bought this to update my mother's dining room and it does a very nice job. The fixture is nicely made and is very easy to install. I am not a professional electrician but have years of experience doing household maintenance and with the power off, this fixture was installed within 15 minutes from start to finish.
