Perfect solar mppt
Just thought I’d drop a review as I’m so impressed with the MPPT and the customer service. Had some questions which were quickly and efficiently answered. When I got the MPPT it was very easy to install and worked instantly. It’s especially useful to have the Bluetooth set up with it so we can just check as we go. It also shows a display from a good distance outside the motorhome. Would highly recommend the item and the company.

Very good communication with the seller.
The unit looks very sturdy and high quality. Easy to set up and use. I had a little issue with the setting up but the seller helped in no time. The unit come with a Bluetooth module which is very handy. Communication with the seller is quick and easy. Good to know - is no access to the cables connections without removing the unit from wall. Apart of that - all fine. Highly recommend - unit and seller.

Almost working perfectly.. almost!
Great unit, especially with the bluetooth as you can monitor from a far.. mine works up to about 40 feet. Only problem I have encountered so far is the unit appears to stop charging at 14v.. output from the panels drops instantly to 0w.. but as soon as the batteries drop to 13.6v the output from the panels kicks in again up to around 200w.. all settings are correct, so unsure why.. apart from that, seems to be working well, nice compact size, very easy in setup and install.

A sturdy unit with substantial in-built protection systems and useful attachments.
I recently blew up my Victron 100v/30 MPPT controller. An accidental reverse polarisation totally bricked it and made it a paperweight, less than a year old. It is not user serviceable and there are no fuses you can change yourself. I sent it to the supplier used tracked postage and they completely ignored me thereafter. Fortunately Amazon refunded me and I decided to go with Ecoworthy instead as I already have an Ecoworthy 100w lithium battery. This is a metal clad unit which has a higher power capability than the Victron unit and a huge range of in-built protection features. It comes as standard with a plug and play bluetooth unit and also a separate temperature probe on a long lead which will protect the lithium battery against charging in cold weather. It also has a small screen which scrolls through several pages of information. Setting up the box is really easy. You simply unscrew a little panel at the back and attach the wires, battery first. This has the slight disadvantage that you need to remove the unit first before changing connections. To set it up, you need to manually tell it what battery is attached by means of a simple button press combination and that is all there is to it. The Victron does the battery ID automatically. I found that the bluetooth box works far more effectively than the Victron systems. The box is on a long lead and you can position it for good reception. I have it installed in a shed and unlike before I can now read the unit from inside the house. The App software is different to the Victron system but just as effective. I am very pleased with this unit which inspires me with more confidence than the one I blew up!!

I must’ve had a bad one
Worked very well for a month and believe it or not it blew up on the last day to be eligible for return, so I was very lucky to get my money back however the company were fantastic to help no problems

Nice piece of kit
Excellent piece of kit. I have an Eco-worthy 280Ah battery and the supplied bluetooth dongle uses the same app which gives info on charging, graphs of usage. Great if you have your electrics hidden away.

Incredibly impressed
I’ve had a home solar setup for a few years and have steadily expanded it. After initially using cheap PWM controllers, I started using Epever Tracers. These worked well, but when it came time to replace one, I saw the ECO-WORTHY 40A MPPT and thought it seemed a comparable and with a Bluetooth module as part of the deal, I took the chance. Quite simple put, I am incredibly impressed. Once the connections were made and I’d downloaded the appropriate app (Play store), things took a little bit of time to setup. Nothing major, but as I use Lithium batteries, I selected that type, but still had to input most of the parameters manually. That’s not a bad thing really, as you should do this instead of relying on any defaults. The info available though the app is much more comprehensive then the Tracer equivalent. Pros Good value Sturdy build (quite heavy) Strong, tight cable terminals BT connection better than expected, compared to the tracer Wifi Plenty of info within the app, including historical data. Very good power conversion rate Cons Took a little bit of time to initially connect to the Bluetooth, which may be more to do with me. Small screen on the controller itself You really must have the BT module to set it up correctly Nothing else as far as I can see. Time will tell for it’s longevity. My advise, as a hobbyist is, give it a try. I love it.

works well with my Lithium battery. Update needed for the app, unnecessary warnings appearing
Reliable Bluetooth connection, some inaccurate fault reports on the app screen, it even reports on the app that the power from the solar panels is too low, it reports this most nights! but works well otherwise.
