Many reviewers have commented on how small these are. They about the diameter of a coffee cup saucer, but they're quite deep & plenty wide enough for my cocker & my friend's mastiff to be able to drink out of. Admittedly 'Ted' (the mastiff) empties the bowl in about 6 slurps, but I can always re-fill it. Having 2 bowls is brilliant - I have one in the boot of the car & the other easily fits into my 'bum bag'. They are a bit difficult to clean. I don't have a dishwasher & find that I need to use a toothbrush to get into the edges in the bottom. They are also a bit difficult to dry. I open mine up & put them on a towel on a radiator to dry. It's important to let them dry properly as moulds & spores might grow. Overall I'm happy & would recommend.

good pair of bowls that are ideal for secondary food/water bowls at home or for travel use.i read some comments on the smaller (not Extra Large size) saying they're too small and tip over so opted for the XL. perfect size for my 20kg Lab-cross

I've had these bowls for 2 years now and they are still as good as new. I take them out every day when walking the dogs. I have a Frenchie and a Bulldog cross and I'm always aware that they might need water.These bowls fold flat so fit really well into my small dog walking bag. Then all I do is put a small bottle of fresh water in my bag and we are all prepared.The carabiner is going to be really useful for some people but as I didn't need it I took it off.I would highly recommend these bowls, they are a great price too.

I have a standard poodle and these were fine for his water and food whilst we toured in my camper van. You may use bigger bowls at home but a Labrador, Alsatian or other larger breed should cope with these. My poodle did sit in the water bowl a couple of times. He's never done that with a rigid bowl. I can't really explain his actions, you'd have to ask him.

Very lightweight and come with a sturdy carabiner clip so that you can attach it to your dogs backpack or your own. You can pop them out halfway for a smaller bowl size or fully for a large bowl size. I have 2 lab sized dogs and they are plenty big enough. My mums shitzu has used them too. Bought these collapsible dog bowls to carry in the rucksack to give the pooch a drink when we are out rambling. Much smaller than the the previous one we had which also had a great big unneccessary rim. These are exactly what we have been looking for. Very cheap price, cheaper tan a single bowl elsewhere. Perfect.

The concept of theses bowls is a good one. The problem is that to make them lightweight and foldable the material is naturally quite flimsy. Our dog simply knocks these over, then picks up and chews them, instantly putting holes in them. How good these are for you is ultimately down to your dog. I think they would probably be ok for smaller dogs.

Smaller than I anticipated, though ok size for my dog, who is small.Seems fairly robust.Small size and collapsibility does make it handy for carrying around to use as a water bowl, especially in this very hot weather we are having.Not really suitable for larger dogs though, certainly not as a food bowl.
