AXFEE 1.2M USB Charger Cable for Nintendo DS/DS Lite

My DS Lite has been sat in drawer for over 5 years and was completely dead. Unfortunately during a house move I seem to have lost the original charger. I started searching for genuine DS Lite chargers for a like for like replacement when I realised all I needed was this cable. I used a USB plug that I had spare to pair it with and the DS was booting up and full of life in no time. Really happy with this quick and easy solution!

Found two old Nintendo DS consoles during a clear-out and, unsurprisingly, no chargers anywhere. I just wanted to make sure they still powered up before selling them, and this did the job perfectly. Plugged straight into a USB socket and started charging straight away — no messing about, no warnings, nothing temperamental. Considerably cheaper than tracking down an original charger and absolutely fine for occasional use. It’s small and easy to store too, so I’ll keep it with the second DS until it goes. Cable feels basic but honestly, for this purpose, that doesn’t matter. It works, it’s cheap, and it saves digging through drawers for the original charger from 2005. If you’ve rediscovered a DS and just need to get some charge into it, this is spot-on.

This DS charger works well and does exactly what it’s supposed to—charges my device quickly and reliably. The cable length is decent, and the build quality feels sturdy enough for regular use. It fits securely into the charging port without being too loose or too tight, which is a plus. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the cord could be a bit longer for more flexibility when using the DS while charging. Otherwise, it’s a solid and affordable replacement

I purchased this for my Samsung phone. Fits snugly into port. Gives a full charge in 50 min. Great value for money. Cable is wrapped to prevent wear and tear. Highly recommended.

J'avais égaré l'original de ma Nintendo DS Lite il y a longtemps, et je cherchais un câble de recharge fiable et pas trop cher pour recharger occasionnellement ma console rétro. Ce modèle fait parfaitement le job : connexion précise sur le port DS Lite (pas de faux contacts), charge stable sans surchauffe, et la longueur de 1,2 m est très pratique (plus long que l'original, ce qui évite de rester collé à la prise). La gaine est solide, le câble souple sans être trop fin, et il supporte bien les branchements/débranchements répétés. Pas de différence notable avec l'original en termes de vitesse de charge pour la DS Lite. Seul petit détail : il n'est pas officiellement "Nintendo", donc pas de logo, mais pour le prix c'est largement suffisant et bien mieux que certains câbles bas de gamme qui lâchent vite.
