It does sharpen very well. It is a little hard to get some knives as the tip or handle effect how you can get it to hold to the magnet. System is a little difficult at times and super easy others. But that is because of the knife. Overall is sharpens very well.Good build quality

I have a few different sharpening tools including stones, diamond sharpeners, and the Ruixin Pro. I got this one when it was offered at a price far below the others in its category.The rolling hone is hefty and easy to handle. The magnets are quite strong. The blade never came off. It would be nice if I could find another rolling hone with different grit levels. The gap between the course side and the finishing ceramic would benefit from more grades. The honing tools in the block work quite well for quick touch ups. I use them when the blade has lost its edge or has too many dings on the ege.

Puts a good cutting edge on all kitchen knives, seems to stay sharp but only sharpened them just over a week ago, still cutting well compared to last month's blunt knives.! The rolling motion is stable and repeatable for the enthusiastic amateur. The quality of your sharpened edge also depends on the grade of steel that your knife manufacturer used. So far it has worked well as advertised, as to the duration of the sharpened edges time will tell, but it isn't a lot of effort to roll them past the sharpener again as needed.Good buy for those who need something easy to give a cutting edge without a big workshop and laser levels in their set up.

Good quality, well made. I was suspicious at first but after a few minutes, the chef knife was definitely sharper. Works on most knives, wider knives require something taller alongside to sharpen the edge and not for smaller knives... we'll see how it lasts.

I used this product for 30 mins and the knife was no better. The magnet does not hold the knife perfectly straight. The system is deeply flawed. This is a gimmick that simply does not work.
