My husband keeps this beside his chair and even if he sometimes does not need it for standing it is very helpful for helping him gain his balance once he is standing.

this item is a waste of money. I ordered two of them one for my mother and one for my mother-in-law and one of them end up breaking my mother-in-law cannot even use the other way too thin. The material is too thin is no good. It’s a waste of money

I like the concept, but I order for my father to pull himself up from a chair or bed I have to place my foot on the base for stability. Very difficult to use a cane it's just to wide and for people with mobility issue now safety will be a problem.

Easy to assemble with the little screwdriver that is included in the package. It seems very sturdy.

ok, for price, I keep this by my sister's chair to give her added support when she gets up, not as sturdy as I would like it to be, very light weight, she is small in size so it works pretty well for her but a bigger person may have issues with it tipping.
