Q: Do you have to use a special resin for the lamp

Any UV resin would work. It doesn’t cure 2-part resin.

Q: My 10 year old daughter uses letter molds for key chains. Is it ok to put the mold that holds the resin, under the uv light?

As long as the molds are clear. The light needs to be able to penetrate all areas to cure and a dark mold doesn’t allow that to happen

Q: Does this work for curing gel nail builder or gel nail polish? I'd like to purchase an all-in-one since I dabble in resin sometimes

I would imagine that it would. I haven’t tried it. I would pay attention to the wattage. Maybe that would make a difference?
