little door came not closing
for 20 bucks id have expected the container to at least come with a working door...guess not and weirdly enough the packaging was not damaged in anyway that it came in so it leads me to believe it was like this when it was packaged. little expensive for just a metal drill bit container and not very high quality. the drill bit holes are either slightly to small or to large for a lot of my bits so I'm having issues with some bits slipping down past their level and locking parts of the container up and having to smack to heck out of it to get things dislodged. is it worth 20 bucks? that's for you to decide i guess

Do not buy this item. Cheaply made.
Do not buy this item. Edges are way too sharp, you can cut you. Drill bits do not stay in position, they fall through the holes and become jammed. You have to use needle nose pliars to pull out. it is really hard. Cheaply made. Do not buy.

The sticker.
It's a garbage sticker that's a nightmare to remove. Why even put it? What a joke.

Great index!
The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for me, I build high end yachts we do a lot of drilling and tapping and the cheat sheet info on the front will be handy! The case is strong and works smooth! And will be easy to carry on all the boats! I filled it before they edited my review, the drill bits were my responsibility, the review is for the index only, all the bits fit great, great addition to my tool box,

A Convenient and Sturdy Container for Drill Bits
This drill bit box is a handy container to keep all your bits located in one place. It holds 29 drill bits from 1/16 inch to 1/2 inch. Each slot list the bit size in fraction and inch thousands. This container will only accommodate bits with a round shank. It will not hold the HEX shank bits. A device can be purchased that will adapt round shank bits to be used in a drill for HEX shank bits. I tried to install the HEX shank bits upside down, but the door will not close. Also, the drill bit and the tap size is listed for each bit size. This is helpful information when a tap is used to provide a hole for a bolt or screw.

Cheap. Use heat gun and Oops! to remove label on front. Bit holes are properly sized though.
I used this drill bit index box to hold a random collection of some bits that had been rolling around in my toolbox. On the plus side the holes for the drill bits seem to be properly sized. And the outer metal case is heavy duty enough (even though mine came dented). The bit holders though are thin, cheap metal that bend easily with a single finger. And the edges can be sharp if you are not careful. The tapping and drill guide index stamped into the bit holders is handy. As for the label on the front of the case (aarrrgggghhhh), use a heat gun to soften the adhesive and peel off the label. Then use an adhesive remover like Oops! to clean up the remaining glue.I have a couple other drill bit index boxes that are much better made than this one so my recommendation is middling at best.

Drill Bit Index Box, Empty Metal Case. Holds 29 Drill Bits 1/16"-1/2"
Drill Bit Index Box, Empty Metal Case. Holds 29 Drill Bits 1/16"-1/2". Extra sturdy metal drill bit case holds 29 drill bits in 3 precisely sized holders that fold into the case. I have a really old case just like this one that is rather rusty and this pretty new drill bit case will be a fine replacement. An excellent case to keep a complete set of drill bits handy.
