I’m a massiveeeeee fan of Solid Gold’s Sea Meal supplement. I typically buy it at a local store but they don’t carry it anymore so I ordered off here and can leave an actual review. I’ve fed Sea Meal since 2023. When I tell you it transformed my dog’s coat from normal appearance to literal glow, I mean it! I was referenced this product when I had a GSD with horrid skin and coat issues due to bad allergies. We paired it with CytoPoint injections and eventually his coat came back tenfold. So, I began feeding it to my next dog - pictured here. I got her as a 1YO and her coat was normal I’d say and maybe a bit dull. A change in food (I feed Open Farm and also swear by them!) as well a adding Sea Meal was huge game changer. Everyone thinks my dog is raw fed. When I took on my second foster (the floppy ear Dobie) she could practically walk through a room and you could watch the dander and hair fly. Her coat quality was horrid. This stuff REVIVED her skin and coat. I will never not feed this to any dog or cat I have, and I constantly tell my clients to give it a shot! Don’t skip on this stuff! I feed it to my British Shorthairs as well and their coat quality is insane. Dense, soft, and no excess shedding or oil. I love this stuff!

If you're reading this review then chances are like myself your dog or dogs are in every way family and there's nothing you won't do to enhance the quality of both their health and lives. Gee it's nice to be among my own kind! A long time fan of Solid Gold they were the first company to introduce an all natural line of dog food sourced from human grade ingredients. Decades ago I started to research commercial dog foods and the more I learned over the years the more appalled I became. Hence, I now make my own and have been tweaking my recipe for years. However, I still use Solid Gold's "Hund - N- Flocken" as an added extra for crunch to my mix. Their line of foods are excellent and their SeaMeal supplement is no exception. In fact it is in my opinion, hands down the best supplement you can give to your best friend. As any architect will tell you - designing something simple is far more difficult then something complex and this truth is one of the key benefits of SeaMeal. Instead of throwing everything into the mix via shotgun, the choice of ingredients albeit slim compared to other products is quite brilliant in it's simplicity and even more so in it's benefit rich formulation. The first ingredient - seaweed, is really the shining star of the show. We have two Old English Bulldogs an 8 year old and a 10 month old puppy since starting them on SeaMeal (they were both on Nupro) a few months ago we've seen some impressive results especially with Harley our oldest. Both their coats are gorgeous, Harley has had Alopecia his entire life which leaves the back of his hind legs practically bald. Over the years we've tried different therapies both prescription medications and homeopathic but to no avail. His bald spots have filled in quite nicely, his energy level has improved significantly as has his Pyoderma (swelling between the toes) Bulldogs are extremely prone to ear infections and these to seem to be significantly reduced in both frequency and severity since using SeaMeal. SeaMeal is without question an excellent supplement that provides significant benefits to your dogs health and well being - I would recommend it to anyone.

give this Solid Gold multivitamin powder with kelp to my 10-year-old German Shepherd, and it’s been an easy addition to his daily routine. The powder mixes well into food, and he eats it without any issues. I appreciate the simple, clean ingredient approach, especially the inclusion of kelp as a natural source of trace minerals. Didn’t realize how well this worked till I switched to a different product. Got this for my son in laws pit bulls who had some serious skin issues, since I tried two products at once, I wanted to see which one was working, so I stopped this one. Big mistake, have them back on it and their skin issues are clearing up again. Would highly recommend. Dogs seem to like the taste.

Just trying it out. I came across this while pricing out other vitamins and minerals. I think it will make nice addition to a an already good diet, and as an add on to their usual vitamins as this addresses the gut (which in turns addresses the immune system). I have 2 labs and 3 cats, and we have good food and good supplements. This doesn't replace a wholesome diet, please be mindful of what it has and doesnt have for your animals individual needs. I bought this mostly to bridge the gap, and add extra appeal to their food (especially the cats-- so picky). Worth the try. I also think if brand new to it, start low and slow so they get used to the new ingredients. This targets the gut...

I love this product. It works great. But Iherb sells the same products way cheaper. so that's why -1.

I bought this product for my bitch who lost a lot of hair during pregnancy and after whelping she lost more hair, she was completely bald under her belly and at the front of her neck and was losing a lot of hair behind her shoulders and her tail. She came out in a skin rash and the vet said her immune system was low and she had completely lost all her undercoat. In just ONE WEEK of using this product she had a layer of hair on her tummy and round her neck and tail and her undercoat was already starting to grow - before this she had been without hair for 4 months and I was shampooing her with medicated shampoo every three days.

Good product / my cats didn’t like the taste but try to mix with snacks or other favorite foods)
