I ordered the party box Ultimate after reading the reviews,(and it was on offer) and to be honest I was a bit like "Yeah, right," and they weren't kidding. This beast was delivered by two men, the box was massive. I had the "what have I done" moment when i saw it for the first time. The speaker itself is massive and i mean massive, I can only compare it to a small wheelie bin, probably a little larger. I unpacked it and plugged it in, really easy to set through the jbl one app, connected it to my wifi, opened spotify and got some music playing. My god is it loud, i have only had it up to 50% once and my walls and windows were vibrating, the bass is something special, the sound quality is another level. I have asked myself many times, why on earth have i bought it. Then i look at it with the music playing and the lights going and find that i have a massive grin on my face. When you first set up the speaker through the app it pings a sound out and calibrates itself to your room, so you know it is going to sound awesome. To sum up, the speaker is massive and heavy, two people are needed to take up and down stairs. The sound is awesome and it is seriously loud, i cant stress this enough it is LOUD, i have not even had it past 50% yet and that is insanely loud. The light show is awesome and will light up any room, this speaker will be awesome for parties in sports halls etc, definitely over kill for home use. But a must for pure grin factor. It has bluetooth and WIFI connections, also Dolby Atmos when listening to Prime Music. This is a serious bit of kit and will go toe to toe with any DJ set up in a pub or club, I run this at about 15% when listening to music, that seems to be the volume where i don't get complaints off my neighbor's. Is it overkill = definitely Is it awesome = definitely should you buy one if you have the funds = definitely

WOW! What can i say about this speaker that it rocks!!! This thing is huge and heavy but you can see why after hooking it up to your phone via Bluetooth and hearing the sound quality. I use this mainly for DJ’ing and use the AUX port at the back and wow it rocks for sure. Got loads of comments from party goers asking where i got this from lol. The RGB lights are really good and react to the music that is playing but the only thing i wish for is that they added light features in the app as there’s not enough but apart from that its an amazing speaker with wheels!

Das (wieder Mal) nicht eingehaltene Lieferdatum, trotz Prime Mitgliedschaft, ergo den damit verbundenen Kosten, soll nicht die Bewertung des Produktes schmälern. Den das hat die Ultimate nicht verdient, ganz im Gegenteil! Als DJ und Heimkino „Typ“ der das über viele Jahre exzessiv betrieben hat, mit Unsummen für Technik, Kabel und Gedöns, erlaube ich mir ein ehrliches Feedback. Wichtig wäre zuerst, es ist eine Partybox und keine Highend Anlage die zu vergleichen sind, sondern es ist eben eine Partybox. Und die JBL Ultimate ist eine Granate, eine Wildsau von Partybox! Für den Soundcheck mit Publikum, bei denen ich schon immer mal wollte, dass denen die Fresse einschläft, habe ich den Titel Moogzera von illusionize rausgesucht. Partybox über Netzwerkstreaming auf 30 Prozent eingestellt, Bass Boost auf „durchschlagend“ eingestellt und vorab schon innerlich fett gegrinst. Denn ich wusste, was gleich abgeht. 😁 Ich freue mich dann jedes Mal wie ein kleines Kind und ich schwör, wäre der Gast mit der Partybox alleine, würde der sich anfassen 🤣 So nun aber mal im ernst! Die Box kommt gut verpackt im Karton daher. Das Monster alleine auszupacken ist Schwerstarbeit. Am besten zu zweit auspacken! Knapp 40 Kilo die äußerlich sehr elegant anmuten, müssen erstmal bewegt werden. Für den Transfer innerhalb der Wohnung, sind zwei Rollen an der Box und man kann mittels des großen und breiten Griff die Box tatsächlich kinderleicht, wie einen Trolley hinter sich her ziehen. Da fällt das massive Gewicht tatsächlich nicht auf. Beim anheben wird das schon schwieriger, wenn man die Box in ein Fahrzeug laden möchte, fehlt einfach ein zweiter Griff. Hier wäre auch wieder eine helfende Hand von Vorteil! Das mitgelieferte 2 Phasen Stromkabel finde ich mit zwei Metern etwas kurz. Ich habe mir gleich ein 10m Kabel dazu gekauft, da die Box, keinen Akku hat und somit auf Strom angewiesen ist. Zur Ersteinrichtung hatte ich mir vorab die App JBL ONE installiert, denn diese ist für bestimmte Anwendungen (Möglichkeiten) zwingend erforderlich. Box einschalten, App öffnen und dann wird man Step by Step durch die Einrichtung geführt. Leider hat die App einen Bug, so dass die Installation etwas tricky ist. Nachdem man sich mit dem WLAN verbunden hat, erscheint ein Hinweis in englischer Sprache, der übersetzt bedeutet, dass man darauf achten soll, dass das Handy mit dem gleichen Netzwerk verbunden sein muss, wie die Box (das ist doch logisch). Der Warnhinweis suggeriert quasi, das etwas nicht stimmt und man bekommt im Menü angezeigt „anderes Netzwerk wählen“ oder als zweite Option „beenden“. Und hier liegt der Bug. Wenn man auf beenden geht, wird die gespeicherte Netzwerk Verbindung wieder gelöscht. Ergo muss man, nachdem man sich mit seinem WLAN verbunden hat, die Apo manuell komplett schließen und neu öffnen, damit die Netzwerk Verbindung gespeichert bleibt. 🙈 Auracast: Ist eine Bluetooth Technologie, bei der die „erste Box“ als Sender zu verstehen ist und sämtliche andere Boxen als Radioempfangsgeröt, wodurch man auch bis zu 100 Boxen verbinden kann (Mono) oder eben zwei Boxen als Stereo Paar. Koppeln von Boxen verschiedener Hersteller ist über Auracast leider nicht möglich. Eigentlich sinnlos, da Auracast ein Standard sein soll. Wer die Box hauptsächlich außerhalb seines Heimnetzwerkes nutzt, braucht die Box nur per Bluetooth koppeln. Anzumerken ist jedoch, dass Dolby Atmos nur über Netzwerkstream möglich ist! Über Bluetooth funktioniert das nicht. Über die App kann man (fast) alles an Licht und Sound einstellen/verändern. Alles sehr logisch und selbsterklärend. Zum Klang: Die 1100 Watt Dauerleistung hämmern mit einer geballten Kraft aus der Box, so dass ich, wenn ich mit der Box alleine wäre, na ihr wisst schon… 🤣 Ich hatte früher die Teufel Rockster, die kann im Vergleich einpacken. Die JBL Ultimate ist durch ihr 3 Wege System klanglich überlegen und hat natürlich deutlich mehr Power. Teufel Rockster hat 450 Watt, JBL Ultimate 1100 Watt. Im Ergebnis hör- und spürbar. Auch im Vergleich zu einer HK Polar 12 (1000 Watt) kommt die JBL stärker rüber. Ob die JBL allerdings eine PA Anlage ersetzen kann, muss ich erst testen. Die Hochtöner sind auf knapp einen Meter Höhe, ergo würde viel Publikum den Schall/Frequenzen schlucken. Nachtrag! In einer großen Location von 140qm verliert sich mit jedem weiteren Meter Abstand zur Box, die Wucht des Basses. Im Abstand von 7m kaum noch spürbar. Das können PA Anlagen definitiv besser. Mein zweiter Test in einem 50qm Raum fiel allerdings voll und ganz positiv aus. Da hat die JBL den Boden zum vibrieren gebracht. Aber als Partybox, ich denke an Gartenparty, ist sie wirklich ultimativ und es gibt nichts besseres und in Verbindung mit der 3 Seiten Effektbeleuchtung und der Vielzahl an Lichteffekten auch nichts schöneres! Anschlüsse rückseitig komplett beleuchtet! Bitte denkt daran, die Box erst ein bisschen einzuspielen, bevor ihr voll aufdreht! Klare Kaufempfehlung, der aktuelle Amazon Preis 1054€ ist unschlagbar günstig!!!
