Nice little kit.
So I found a pair of these on Ebay at a stupid good price and bought them for my daughter. Liked them so much I picked up another pair here on Amazon for myself. Just as a data point reference, I am 6ft 220lbs and am at the max interpupillary distance on these. Also, I own a silly amount high-ish end binos and these are not them. However, for a tenth of the price of some of my others, the viewing through these is 90% of those and are perfect for the glove box, as a loaner to someone without a pair or when you want super light weight and still have quality glass. 6.5x magnification is a sweet spot for edc. Oh yea, nice little pouch and sling provided. Vortex hit a homerun with these at this price point.

Great binoculars
My 8 years old son got it for his birthday. He loves it,Use it for stargazing, and for air show. The field of view is wide. The image is clear. Good value for money. The size is perfect for his hands but also ok for me, however clearly fits him better. The build quality is great.

Absolutely wonderful!
As others have mentioned, these are perfectly fine for adults. They have the same feel and features as my $239 pair of Vortex Diamondback 8x32 binoculars, just in a smaller magnification (6.5 vs 8) and package. If I had found these first, I probably wouldn't have spent the money on the Diamondbacks.Edit: I have the 8x42 Vortex Diamondback binoculars, not 8x32 as I stated in my review.

Small but descent
There are great to throw in your bag. They are a small set but pretty good.

Excellent Quality, Great Value
Let me be clear at the onset: I only use binoculars for stargazing so I have no idea if these are good for hunting or birdwatching. I own a pair of the Vortex Optics Viper HD Roof Prism Binoculars 8x42 and I love them but they are packed in my astronomy kit and kind of heavy for extended use. I wanted a light pair of binoculars for every night use that I could just store in a living room side table and grab and go. After extensive research I settled on the Vortex Bantam. Sure they are marketed for kids and I think these are great for kids use but as an adult I am very happy. Like my other Vortex pair the optics are top shelf and the mechanical focus is smooth as silk. Eye cups adjust for perfect relief. Really surprised how good they are for 20% of the price of my other pair. Sure I sacrifice a little magnification but I can still see all the fun sky objects I love to scan on the regular (Orion Nebula, Sirius, Capella, Betelgeuse, Rigel, Pleiades, Andromeda, Aldebaran, Cassiopeia, and of course the solar system planets). These were exactly what I was looking for great set.

Great for Adults, Vortex = Quality
You get what you get with Vortex, QUALITY. These may be advertised for youth, but they are great for adults too. Those complaining about eye relief clearly don't know how to operate them. These are perfect travel binoculars for birding. I often find my other, larger pair of Vortex big and cumbersome when packing light. I also bow hunt for deer from minimalist tree stands, and these will be my go-to pair for the fall. Vortex once again doesn't dissapoint!

Our toddler's favorite thing! Impressed with the quality even compared to our adult Vortex Optics
After watching up glass for wildlife our toddler always "wanted to see". Obviously our Vortex Binos were too big and bulky. We were so happy to find her some for her little hands and face!Of course Vortex has the best warranty so we felt comfortable purchasing optics from them for a 2 year old! We are very impressed with how well they magnify and allow her to glass alongside with us!

Nicely made with good image, however beware of minimum close focus
These are nice little binoculars. I always wondered what I would lose if I went as low as 6.5x. As I imagined, not much. Comparing my 8x diamondbacks with these, it's honestly difficult to tell that the magnification is different. They have abundant eye-relief for those who wear glasses. They seem to be nice and sturdy too. However, the main drawback is the minimum focus difference. Although the specs say 3.7 m, mine are closer to 4 m. This would make them impracticle for following a warbler close by or for observing reptiles and anphibians.
