Random House Books for Young Readers Seafood Simple: A Cookbook

Beautiful photos of recipes, lots of good information and techniques from a 4 star Michelin chef. I bought 2, after buying one for a gift, I reordered one for myself. This was an add on gift with a Le Creuset fish baker for a friends birthday, he just loved it.

So many delicious recipes!

Very nice recipes and delicious modern fusion fish and seafood dishes. Would be nice if the book would also have some kind of step by step cooking tips (it has some but only about how to cut the fish).

この本の意図した核なるものが見つからなかった。魚の捌き方等詳しく記載されていたり、その他の道具等の使い方も記載されているが、肝心な美味しい料理が見当たらなかった。私は、ブラックバス等の川魚等は、寄生虫が多いので食べないし、アヒ―ジョ風のエビとニンニクのオリ―ブオイル漬けも苦手だ。私は、わさびを使った料理やせいろ蒸し等ではなく、バターをたっぷり使った料理本のレシピを期待していた。フランス料理って感じがしない料理本でガッカリした。これってフランス料理!?って感じがした。

I love Eric Ripert but had yet to buy any of his books. I'm so glad I bought this one. I love fish. He loves fish and all of the recipes in this book look awesome.I have yet to cook anything out of it as I only just received it, but there are so many that I will definitely do. All of the recipes look achievable and even though some look harder than others, you can can decide what level of difficulty you want to attempt. He shows you how to fillet fish and shuck oysters and anything else you need to do if you decide to go down that path instead of getting your fishmonger to do it.My next is his Vegetable Simple....
