I had problems with the product originally but the seller not only refunded me, he sent me a new on with a whisk already attached so I could see how it is supposed to work. This time, the Whisk Wiper did not hit my bowl and I believe that my original whisk is actually slightly bent from years of use, which was also why I had such a hard time even getting the wiper on in the first place. Its not bent so badly that you would look at it and say "oh its bent" but it was enough to skew the placement of the wiper, causing the issue I had originally. The seller went above and beyond and I really appreciate this.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was excited to find this product. Unfortunately it didn't meet expectations at allit was kind of tough to put on and then when I started whisking my egg whites, it hit the sides of my bowl, breaking off pieces of the wiper and making my eggs full of bits of silicone and obviously unusable. Unfortunately I didn't get to try it right after I bought it and now the return window is now closed :( if you do decide that try it test it out right away!!

Although the seller said that it was compatible with KitchenAid tilt-head stand mixers, I couldn't get the wires of the whisk to fit through the Whisk Wiper Pro. After two unsuccessful tries I gave up. And getting it off of the whisk was nearly impossible. It's very rigid; not at all what I was expecting. I'll be returning it.

This product is a durable, effective and well-designed whisking shield. Of course, As soon as it arrived, I had to try it out. At first sight, I was pleasantly surprised at this beautiful heavy duty thick but flexible transparent shield. Little effort was required to slide the wires through the shield’s slots all the way up to the top, where the shield nestled into place. I grabbed the carton of heavy cream and poured a generous amount into the bowl while gradually increasing the mixer speed until it reached full speed carefully watching for any splattering that escapes the shield. I expected to see at least a few drops of splatter especially highest speed, but nope, not one drop escaped the shield. Usually it takes some time and effort to get all the cream off of the whisk. The shield perfectly scrapes every wire as it’s removed to be easily cleaned off and stored right on the whisk ready for the next use.

The whipping attachment for our stand mixer has had a lot of use, so some of the tines are slightly bent out of alignment. Installing this on the attachment is fussy in that you have to ensure you're lined up on the right tines (it matters whether you're aligning over an inner, middle or outer tine) and if they're a bit tweaked out of line, you have to wrestle this thing into place. Once on, though, it's fairly easy to remove and sure makes cleaning the whipping attachment easy to clean (or to remove whatever you were whipping so you can eat it). The bowl scrapper function is useful too.

I think it's a bit expensive for what it is. Definitely useful for batters but not for dough. If your whisk attachment is old like mine and you have pried around cleaning it, this will not slide on easily and will need some adjustment of the wires. I purchased as a gift for my mom and I helped install it on hers and it slid on smoothly. I got one for myself and some of the silicone was peeling off, so I returned it. The customer service was excellent they refunded me for mine and offered me a replacement at no charge because they wanted me to try it out. I can say it us useful but I could easily clean my bowl with spatulas and hold the whisk over the bowl on the way to the sink to avoid drips. It's a cool and unique product so kudos to inventing it and my mom was excited to try it out and thought it was neat because she never knew it existed.

Although this is amazing idea and worked great the first time I could never get it back on again without a struggle.

Genius product for the casual baker or the serious professional! A must for all Kitchenaid mixer users! I bought two of these and had an issue with one of them. I contacted customer support and had it replaced immediately. Great customer service!
