I have been following the Dr. Gundry diet for many months and was trying to find the California Country Gal bread that he recommended and this is her-Grain Free Planet. On this diet you are pretty much making all your food and it is not cheap. Approved pasta is $4 for 8 oz. in a box. Frozen is $12-15. Tomato sauce is $15 a jar. Say good bye to eating out. Most of my meals were roasted vegs w/$4 a can beans, wild salmon and lots of greens. Don't get me wrong, I feel great and lost 30 lbs w/o trying but I missed a nice egg or tuna sandwich. I tried baking bread and bought all the expensive lectin free ingredients but they always tasted terrible and thank God I found Grain Free Planet bread... it has changed my life! It is delicious! The first day I got the bread I made a fried over-easy open faced sandwich w/goat cheese with avocado. Next day was French toast for breakfast and tuna sandwich for lunch. Delish. I can hold my food in my hand again. Not just in a plate with balsamic drenched vegetables. Wow. While I am preparing my meal I lay the bread slices on the gas top stove burner to toast it. Now I can make sandwiches again for when I'm going to be out running errands all day. This bread has changed my life and I haven't gained an ounce. Thank you for making such a delicious bread for me. Also when I contacted the company w/a question they responded immediately... who does that? Great fast delivery too. Will definitely be ordering again and again and look forward to trying all your lectin free products. Much respect to you.

The product does not arrive frozen nor cold but indicates that it keeps 12 months frozen, or 7-10 days refrigerated. I put 5 packs in the freezer and made a sandwich with the other. It was good but the bread had a wet texture. I assumed that since the packages only had a few slices, and they did not arrive cold that leaving the package out to use for breakfast the next day would be ok. It was not. The next morning less than 24 hours after receiving, the products even wetter as if it were melting and was developing a smell. It may have been a 1 off but I will not be ordering again.

I like the thin slicing of the bread all though the very small sized bread slices are really pushing it considering the pricing. These loaves are not securely packaged either, but loosely sealed. Allowing for a number of problems to arise. Overall this bread is an ok bread flavor & texture wise. But this company needs to tweak their product, their packaging and their pricing. Until they do I want be purchasing or recommending this product.

As a professional who works 40+ hours a week, I find this product to be wonderful. Eating grain free for over 12 years I've missed having a sandwich or a toast. I haven't always had the time to bake bread but now I can purchase delicious bread and toast or make a sandwich anytime. The product arrived frozen and double plastic bagged. The bread loaf size is convenient to take anywhere. The thin slice holds up well to any kind of sandwich I've made. If you eat grain free, I highly recommend this product for a grain free lifestyle. It's a tasty and a convenient time saver. The Cinnamon bread is delicious too.

If everyone around you slathers butter on steaming hot rolls right in front of you. THIS. IS. FOR. YOU! We're talking grilled cheese sandwiches. Strawberry shortcake. Oh man. This stuff is an absolute pain in the butt to make at home. Nobody is getting rich off of this. Buy some for the freezer, occasionally whip this out... And let the good times roll!
