Great laptop
This laptop is perfect for traveling. At only 1 pound, I can easily put in my camera backpack without any additional strain or weight. Functions perfectly, easy setup, good warranty and customer support. Excellent battery life.

Not the fastest but adequate for my needs
I’m a die hard Mac user but needed a PC for some dev work. This computer was light, easy to set up and worked well for programming in FileMaker and using Quickbooks.

Better than expected
I have owned Lenovo products in the past, even before they bought the IBM brand. Some were great, others not. After reading many reviews and watch utube videos, I decided to get this for my consulting work. I ordered the configuration with 32GB RAM amd 1TB of M.2 storage, non-touch panel. Windows 11 Pro preinstalled. Performance: it's better than I expected. I think Intel is finally stepping up on more powerful and efficient processors for laptops. I would have preferred an AMD version but the X-carbon is Intel only. I highly recommend going with at least 32GB of RAM if you're a power user. Windows 11 is a RAM hog for sure. Battery Life: So far it lasts many hours, I was expecting 2-3 given my history with power-laptops. But this is a much welcomed improvement. Plus, many of the power-banks can drive this as a backup while traveling. Case:Keyboard:Display: The case is light, thin and super rigid. Nicely done. It does not flex at all. The keyboard is excellent as past models and can be back-lit with a keystroke. This LCD panel is nice and sharp, although more nits would be better. There is an upgrade, but to costly for me. The camera has a blocking shutter, to keep the CIA or other probes from peeking... :) Overall, I bought this at a great price, just before Christmas. My last laptop was a Dell XPS 13 and it was really nice, but I decided to try this after reading and watching many reviews. A great value for those needing a lightweight business laptop for the road. Highly recommended!

Hign performace laptop but difficult to setup.
The Lenovo X1 laptops have high performance but there are difficulties in setting them up some of which involve the BIOS and can only be resolved by Microsoft, and it is extremely difficult to reach.humans at Microsoft,

NO WARRANTY
After only 2 months of use the trackpoint starts wandering on its own. Pretty much unusable.
