Delicious dram. Been wanting to try this for ages, finally have and not disappointed. Only odd thing was that it didn’t come boxed…?? I know that sounds like a daft thing to whine about, but it just doesn’t seem right!?

I chose this whisky to try, having read many glowing reviews online. I note that this whisky is produced and sold as a batch product and that those great reviews I had viewed were of a variant that was not simply "AD/", but included a batch number, also printed in bold on the label. Perhaps my bottle was an early or first batch version. I found it to have a good smoky nose with a fairly strong alcohol burn (it's a young whisky) with a very peppery finish leading to a bitter taste. I experienced no sweet, fruity or malty flavours at all. A little water did not tame it by much. I'm only a newbie whisky drinker, so maybe my palate was not ready for this batch version. It's likely to stay on my shelf for a long time.

Very pleased with this purchase, a fantastic tasting dram with just the right amount of smoke and oiliness.

Very very good. Natural colour, non chill filtered and over 46%. A mix of peated and unpeated spirits generally lovely.
