This is one of the best products that I have ever bought from Amazon. This magnetic hand sized wand can pick up just about anything that’s metal that you have dropped on the floor, lost in your car, or whatever. It’s a powerful tool! And it’s easy to use, especially if you are older and you hate to bend over all the time. This thing telescopes and you don’t have to bend over so much. For one stray pin …😬 It will find dropped pins if you’re a seamstress. I don’t know if it will pick up a fork or a spoon. I haven’t tried that yet, but it’s fun to see what it picks up. I gave one to my son and daughter-in-law and the little magnetic bowl that they sell here because you can put things in it like pins and needles, but also things like hair clips and bobby pins. They stay put as it’s magnetic, too. I have one of those, too. Everything just dives in there and stays. I think I could turn it upside down and nothing would fall out. But this MAGNETIC wand is durable and quick on the task. It’s absolutely marvelous. Get one. You’ll spend half the day looking for objects (yes, even your refrigerator !) that it is attracted to. I love it!

I was super excited to receive this as I am building a playhouse for my daughter. The reason is because I am super clumsy and not the handiest person around so having this magnetic tool to help me pick up loose metals is a time saver! The grip was helpful and easy on the hand. The ability to adjust the height was needed as it helps extends to hard to reach places. I appreciated the light weight of the tool and the size as I am able to put it in my back pocket and pull it out when needed. The tool was able to pick up loose screws and other small items. I am excited to have this in my tool collection

Wow! This was much more powerful than I expected, but I love it. I bought it for picking up metal craft dies. But it will be useful for other metal objects as well! The magnet is very strong! I think the product itself appears to be well made. It also actually larger than I expected, but it’s not too heavy. Glad I bought it!

This product not only showed how strong even a smaller magnet can be but it was really light weight. The only thing “wrong” with this item was it was a little flimsy when fully extended but that was a given from the start. Over all great product and you should buy it!

While I doubt that this is well suited for "garbage pickup", (my city has a service for this), it works great for picking up small parts. The build quality is good, the gripper works smoothly, the ring magnet at the tip is reasonably strong, but the LEDs were dim until I replaced the half-dead batteries that came with it. But, for under $10, I can't complain. One trick that I discovered: When retracted, the claw blocks much of the light from the internal LEDs. To get more light when looking for the capture target, push the claws open.

This compact magnet is highly effective for retrieving lost fishing hooks and lures from the local pond, and also for recovering dropped personal hooks. Including such a tool in your fishing kit is strongly recommended; its utility is exceptional.

Ok choice to pick up nails, screws but magnet needs to be stronger and wider. Handle is very flimsy. Had to tape telescopic sections together to prevent it from collapsing in.

Used this to pick up screws that fell into my pool after the recent hurricane destroyed my pool enclosure. Worked great. It was easy to use and picked the screws up with ease even pulling them through the water. Perfect around the house or outside.
