The Silk Pillowcase for Hair and Skin is lovely and well made. It has a zipper closure, which keeps the pillow securely in place and prevents it from slipping out. I originally bought it hoping it would help my toddler with her hair. She tends to thrash around in her sleep and wakes up with lots of tangles. Unfortunately, I don’t think she’s actually slept on it much yet, so I can’t say it helped her hair. I did try the pillowcase myself one night, and I really enjoyed it. It felt cool against my face and was incredibly soft and luxurious. It definitely felt comfortable and high quality. The only downside is that it needs to be hand washed, which requires a little extra care. Overall, it’s a beautiful pillowcase and very pleasant to use.

These are the best pillowcases I have ever used. I have had them for close to a year now and they seem to be holding up just fine. I wash on delicate and never dry and it remains looking and feeling brand new. The pillowcases are super soft and great for your hair and skin supposedly. My plan is to purchase a few more along with the body pillowcases.

The moment I opened the package, I could tell they were high quality, soft, smooth, and with that cool-to-the-touch feel I love. My daughter has been trying to take better care of her skin and hair, and switching to silk was one of the best decisions we made for her. The zipper closure is a huge plus because the pillow actually stays put, and the stitching feels sturdy. Both sides are real silk, not that cheap silky polyester blend you sometimes get tricked into buying. Overall, these pillowcases feel like a small everyday luxury that makes a real difference. For the price and quality, they’re absolutely worth it. I’m already thinking about grabbing another set for me!

I received this today, so I can't say how effective it is for hair and skin, but I ordered a set of polyester satin pillowcases at the same time and I can definitely see the difference in the fabric. I don't know what quality silk this is, but it feels like real silk and looks as expected. The size is also as expected, it works with my queen size pillows (I checked before washing, since I always wash any article that touches out skin before using it). I only removed a star because I haven't tested it yet so cannot guarantee how well it works. But after it is washed and I have slept on it, I will come back and edit this if there is anything important to add. Washed like a dream with gentle laundry soap on the gentle cycle, hung to dry, didn't need ironing. Did not shrink, develop loose threads or change in any way. Lovely and soft to sleep on. Probably more gentle on my hair than cotton, but since I had a silk bonnet on, I couldn't really feel the difference. Nice, though!

These are perfect for the price - just purchased my second set. They wash well, feel nice, and the colors are beautiful.

I ordered two of these as gifts for my teen daughters and they LOVE them. These pillow cases feel beautifully silky and refreshingly cool to the touch. My daughters have noticed that they wake up with significantly less frizzy, tangled bedhead.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt I had to for these pillowcases. If you’ve been searching for a good pillowcase and have struggled with these types of pillowcases in the past, this one is worth trying. The price is unbeatable, but even regardless of cost, I would choose this one. I can tell it’s real silk, with good thickness and excellent quality overall. I remembered I had a piece of pure Italian silk fabric, so I got it out and compared them. I added a video showing the pillowcase next to the fabric, and the texture, feel, and subtle sheen are very similar, which reassured me that this is genuine, high-quality mulberry silk. I’ve only ever used satin pillowcases before, and I wasn’t a fan. The satin ones I tried (from Kitsch) were too tight on the pillow, and my head felt like it was slipping and sliding off. They weren’t comfortable to use at all. I have fine, curly-to-wavy hair that breaks very easily. Now that my hair has grown to just below my breasts, it feels like it has stopped gaining length because of breakage. I do not use heat on my hair, but I would still see broken strands on my pillowcase in the morning. I’ve been searching for something to protect my hair without the discomfort of bonnets, which keep my hairstyles preserved but are uncomfortable and always seem to fall off my head. When I slept on a regular pillowcase, my hair would look dry, frizzy, and messy by morning. My hope is that this pillowcase will keep my hair looking fresh like a bonnet would, but without the commitment of wearing something over my head all night. I just got it, so I’ll update later on how well it works for my hair. The pillowcase itself is very comfortable. It does not hug the pillow too tightly, which makes it much easier to settle into. There’s just enough room so the pillow isn’t bunched up, but it isn’t loose either. I can squish it down, rest my head, and actually get comfortable. I love the zipper closure because it keeps the pillow securely inside without sliding out. I bought the king size in light pink, and the fit is perfect. The color is a beautiful, soft baby pink that isn’t too bright or too shiny. It has a subtle sheen, not plasticky like satin can look, and under light it has a delicate sparkle that makes it look elegant. I just received it, so I can’t speak to staining or long-term wear yet, but compared to my expensive Italian silk fabric, the sheen and feel are almost identical. That comparison really reassures me that this is real, high-quality silk. Overall, this pillowcase is gorgeous, comfortable, and seems promising for protecting my fragile hair while keeping my styles looking fresh. It feels luxurious without being too slippery or tight, and I’m very happy with this purchase so far. I would definitely recommend it.
