The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution, Acne-Fighting Serum for Blemish-Prone Skin

Keeps my pores clean.I apply just to the pores thst have oxidized sebum (look like black heads but they aren't)I apply this nightly and my pores stay clean looking. Less oxidized sebum. (Castor oil cleans them out completely)The consistency is nice. Its not to thin and watery but not too thick like a cream. Its a perfect serum consistency. Stays put and because its thicker doesnt roll down the face fast. Its a slow moving serum.No added fragrance or scent. Its just a straight salicyclic acid serum. I really like the no added fragrence as I am quite sensitive to overly scented items.I have normal skin, my t zone gets a bit more oil/sebum production then other areas but it is a pretty tiny amount. Its not overly greasy looking but definitely more oilyness then my cheeks (as it should be)This doesnt dry me out or cause more oil production. Its lightwieght and dries quickly.I use a pretty heavy moisturizer (la roche cicaplast) as my nightly moisturizer to help loco in all the products i used so my face benefits the most from it.

He estado usando este producto con ácido salicílico por unas semanas y los resultados han sido excelentes. Ayuda a mantener mis poros limpios, reduce los brotes de acné y deja la piel con una textura mucho más suave. Lo aplico una o dos veces al día, y lo mejor es que no reseca en exceso ni irrita, siempre y cuando se use con moderación.Es perfecto para pieles mixtas a grasas, y noto una clara mejora en la apariencia de puntos negros y espinillas. Un básico en mi rutina de cuidado facial. ¡Totalmente recomendado si buscas combatir imperfecciones de manera efectiva!

It works! But is very drying! I learned it the hard way and damaged the crap out of My Skin Barrier so I recommend sandwiching it between moisturizers and using it sparingly, I've been using it as a spot treatment versus an all over facial serum.

This is a nice salicylic acid serum. I love The Ordinary, because they offer affordable products comparable to pricey brands. The dropper is easy to use. It’s a nice thickness and dries well. If you over apply, it can flake once it dries. Seems to reduce the redness and size of my acne overnight. It can run out fast if used daily

So far, I think I’ve been using it for a week or a little longer. I’ve been using it on my pimple that I had for years and it’s slowly going away. I’ve also been applying it to my nose where I always seem to have some redness around that area and it’s slowly going away too! I only apply one drop on the preferred area twice a day and that seems to do the trick. Though I wish I would’ve taken some pictures for before and after… but overall I’m satisfied for the results that I’m seeing and I hope it continues to improve throughout the time!

I love this product! If you use it consistently you will definitely see results. I have gotten so many compliments about my skin since using it.
