Critical Issue After Auto Update – Eufy Security Indoor Cam S350 (Firmware Issue)
Dear Eufy Support Team, I am writing to report a critical issue that began immediately after the automatic app update from the App Store for the Eufy Security Indoor Cam S350. The camera was functioning perfectly before the update, but the following issues appeared right after installing the latest version: 1. Push Notifications Stopped Working • Continuous push notifications no longer function. • Alerts are delayed or do not arrive at all. • The option for “Rich Notifications” disappeared entirely from the camera’s notification settings. 2. Motion Alerts Not Triggering Properly • The camera detects and records motion events, but no notifications are sent to the device. • This issue occurs consistently after the auto-update. 3. App / Firmware Setting Changes • Notification settings changed automatically after the update. • Several notification options disappeared from the interface. • Rebooting the camera or reinstalling the app did not fix the problem. 4. Troubleshooting Attempts (No Improvement) I have already tried the following steps with no success: • Rebooting the Indoor Cam S350 • Reinstalling the Eufy Security app • Resetting notification settings • Removing and re-adding the camera • Resetting notification permissions on iPhone • Verifying Wi-Fi connection stability • Reconfiguring motion detection and activity zones None of these attempts restored the previous notification behavior. 5. Request for Support Because the issue started only after the automatic update, it strongly appears to be a firmware or app-side bug affecting notification delivery and camera communication. I kindly request: • Confirmation whether this issue is known for the latest app/firmware version • A hotfix or beta firmware to restore normal notifications • Any additional steps that may temporarily resolve the issue • An estimated timeline for an official fix This issue impacts the essential security functions of the Indoor Cam S350 and requires urgent attention. Great camera but had few desirable things lacking
Gives a great and clear view. Setup with homebase is a Breeze .Overall a very good product. The areas where it lacks are : - it claims to have a BioniqAI however there is no provision to make Notifications silent for known individuals or a group of known faces due to which the notifications can get overwhelming and will become annoying. - there is no provision to alert in case of unknown face only - the maximum one can snooze is 12 hours - sometimes you don’t want camera to snoop but there is no cap. - If there are 4 family members they cannot have their own login to access the camera. I know there is a share function but doesn’t work most time and camera keeps retrying. Only option is to share same login… which is not ideal… should have ability to specify specific email IDs for home access

Very good and impressive camera with excellent image quality and reliable connectivity. The motion detection works really well and is responsive, and the other smart functions are genuinely useful rather than gimmicky. Local storage is a big plus, as there’s no need for a subscription. The 360° movement provides great coverage, and the night vision is clear and effective. It also looks very cute and discreet. Overall, one of the best home cameras I’ve owned so far ,highly recommended.

il est très difficile de comprendre le fonctionnement diverses fonctionnalités fonctionnent puis ne fonctionnent plus l'intégration avec Homey pro est BUGGEE (c'est mon critère majeur) le support est désolant uniquement en anglais sans faire d'effort de traduction fournissseur à oublier (c'est mon cas)

Absolutely amazing product. The wide angle lens means you don’t have to be super precise with where you place the camera, as it will catch everything in its view with ease. The zoom lens paired with 4K resolution means I can see every detail of something from across the room; I can even read the temperate on my Google Nest across the other side of the house in the other room, it’s actually amazing. I’ve got it connected to my 5GHz WiFi network, and albeit my Internet not being “fast” at 4MB/s, there is zero delay in the camera feed streaming to my phone at full 4K resolution. Coming from an Amazon Blink camera, this has absolutely blown my mind. Even the talk through feature is crispy, super good voice quality with no delay, I can talk to my wife through it whilst in another country, like it’s a normal phone call. The Ai tracking is almost eerily creepy with how good and accurate it is. Awesome for keeping an eye on my cats when I’m at work. Genuinely the best camera I’ve use. App is awesome and integrated with the rest of my Eufy Products. Recently bought an E20 RoboVac from Eufy and I can track and control both of these products from the same screen on the app. 10/10 from me, and I’m a picky tech geek.
