Don't Forget the Bypass!
Other pumps have a little flange that sticks down to cover the hole on the passenger side for the coolant bypass on the stock pump. This one doesn't have that little bit that sticks down so I have to thread the hole and put a stud in it. The pump is attractive and clearly high quality but that little hiccup with the bypass hole made it take longer than the installation should have. Had I noticed this, I would have gotten one of the other pumps that were only a little more to not have to get out the tap and die.

This is the best thing since bubble gum!. I have a 383 chevy modified and I wondered how this would work with a heat hot combination. I kept the fans off, while running, and the temp did not get above thermostat temp. I am convinced it works.

Works good once I got it to quit leaking
I had to get better gaskets the gaskets that can with leaked

Hose connector doesn't clear harmonic balancer
Pump seems to work but the hose connector is to close to the harmonic balancer to install properly. Also might need to plug the bypass hole on front of the block. Had to reinstall a regular pump until I can retrofit an angled piece that will thread in for the hose.
