Good for the price but it's not leather.
This is reasonably priced and comfortable to grip on the wheel. It's fairly easy to fit but takes a lot longer than they say unless you've fitted a lot and are in practice. However it isn't leather and it really should not be described as such. It appears to be bonded leather at best which is a process where leather dust is amalgamated with adhesive and pressed in sheets and a polyurethane surface applied. Bonded leather may only contain fifteen per cent leather to be called that. But it might not have any and they still call it leather.I didn't really expect it to be leather at this price. But it really should not be called cowhide because that is a particular type of actual hide so that is actively misleading. Most of these so called leather steering wheels are bonded leather unless the car is fairly high end and so are not leather at all. But it doesn't stop them describing them as leather.Anyway for the price it's okay and more comfortable to hold than the plain wheel.

NOT REAL LEATHER: But a great cover nonetheless!
I have an 18 year old Toyota Corolla (1999) and as you can imagine, the steering wheel surface has worn down considerably at the 2 o'clock position where the right hand sits almost permanently. I decided I would need a cover. I'm not a fan of the stretch over covers as the lip on the inside of the wheel is annoying, so I gave this a go.Material: This is NOT leather! It is a plastic/ rubber with a leather texture layered on top of other materials, it loses one star of rating for the slightly misleading description. For me this isn't a big problem, it feels very durable and the texture is virtually the same as the car wheel, also it is inexpensive.Installation: There was ample thread supplied with two needles, in case one gets lost! The seller also emailed me a PDF with stitching instructions. It stretched slightly over the wheel, ensuring a snug fit. Stitching it was straightforward enough, the instructions give a good technique.I followed their advice about using plasters to protect my fingers when pulling the thread and was glad of it! I needed to pull the stitches very tight to close the gap between each side of the cover.I would advise using a thimble as well, since pushing the needle through the cover was quite hard.I snapped the thread once when pulling, but after tying another piece on it held up perfectly the rest of the way, I assume that part was a little worn.Appearance: It looks great! Grey colour is almost a perfect match for my car and the stitching looks lovely and neat.I'm hoping this will last well and can happily recommend it, as long as you understand it isn't leather, it's great!

Great Steering Wheel Cover!
This is one of the best purchases I have made this year! It's given a completely new lease of life to what was a rather worn steering wheel. Took about 50 minutes to fit, so needs a bit of patience, but is so worth the effort. Follow the instructions and you can't go far wrong. Top tips - make sure you measure the circumference of the steering wheel and match to the sizes on offer and....keep the tension in the thread tight as you go (a glove on the non-dominant hand to hold the tension is recommended). Looks excellent - should have got one years ago!

Great Renovation product
Having read all the reviews on how it was hard to fit I had initially thought I had bought the wrong size, but a bit (ok a lot) of stretching and it fitted my merc steering wheel perfectly, and the colour match is great. Stitching was relatively easy and not too time consuming, hard to get it round the spokes but a bit of glue could solve that problem nb I did break a thread (by pulling too hard) but tied it to the other thread (slightly different colour but not really noticeable). I thought adding an additional layer would make the wheel feel fat but its not too noticeable.

It works as intended!
Got this because my steering wheel is damage (it's almost 21 years old) its faded and the rubber at the top part is cut so I decided to buy this instead of the usual covers. As I started I thought that the cover was smaller in diameter than the wheel (I measured before buying) but I kinda forced it and streched it and It fit quite well. I used the videos sent by e-mail and did exactly how the video showed and it went well. The chord was 3 or 4 inches shorter than It should but I attached the second chord to it and continued stiching the last 4 stitches. As you can probably tell on the pics the top part of the steering wheel wasn't has pretty as the lower part, I'm not sure if I did something wrong there or if the steering wheel is thinner there. It took me about 1:30h to install it. I recommend you to use some kind of glove or something to protect your fingers, my hand was really sore after stitching it all, the needle would also slip of my fingers due to sweat. Overall I really liked the product and looks exactly like I wanted.

Really good product which looks and feels classy.
Excellent product, I saved loads on not buying a new steering wheel for my Land Rover as the dealership wanted. The finished article is really great and good value, the product is of high quality and looks and feels classy . When fitting make sure you have the time to do the job and don't rush it. Read the instructions fully and its easy to fit even with a car like mine with 4 wide steering wheel spars. I bought the black with black thread and I think that was a good choice as any slight mistakes are not obvious.

Fantastic product - fitted perfectly!
This is brilliant! Thinking stitching would be difficult - I found it both easy and actually relaxing. The result - a beautiful. luxurious feeling steering wheel. It looks great and has really upgraded the look of my rather old and tired van. I only needed one of the two needles they sent and the thread was strong and grippy. Get one! You will not be disappointed.

Happy to recommend this product.
Looks great, fits well. But fiddly to line up holes near the sewn seam. My wide spokes didn't help.Instructions clear and helpful.Feels great on the steering wheel.Overall a great buy, which I'm happy to recommend.
