Takes a little assembly but all the parts are really high quality and the result is very sturdy and works exactly like you'd expect. Nice job by the manufacturer. Instructions are simple but make sure you figure out which screws go where before you start. Used with a TB Velocity One Flightstick. Request: Can you guys make a mount that clamps to the edge and raises the stick above a surface, like a coffee table? I'd buy one of those too.

These have a nice weight to them, as was evident when I received the boxes, but they also rattled a lot so I knew I was in for a project. The instructions are average, and one upside to the assembly is I think you'd be able to mod these to fit a number of different joystick models.Once I got them assembled, I was a little disappointed in how sturdy they felt when attached. Within a few minutes of playing they started feeling loose. I thought it was my joystick mounting, but it was actually some loosening in the clamp. It may have just been breaking in, because after several rounds of re-tightening and things did improve.Time will tell how long these last, but I'm not terribly encouraged by these early experiences. Still, they do work, so depending on your budget, this might be the right product to grab.

Simple and quick for moving the stick around, nice clamp is nice once you have it set. Can be a pain to put together for some people, but if you are familiar with t slot then it is great. Everything looks machinable too and the t slot is standard so you could modify or add to it too if you wanted to add wire guides or whatever.

At $35 it’s a bit steep but I’m going to say well worth it to lower the tension on your elbow by lowering the joystick. My son’s been using this for playing X-Plane which he does at our dining table. We don’t have a flight rig setup only have the Logitech G Extreme 3D joystick. This was really easy to set up. I’m tempted to mark it down to 4 stars because the instructions were really poor, but it wasn’t hard to figure out anyway so I’ll leave it. At first he was skeptical when I pulled it out, but after using it for a few hours he loves it.The quick-release clamp is really brilliant and beats the typical spin-to-tighten sorts of mechnisms common for this sort of device. It does take a little bit to calibrate it and get it the right height but assuming you’re always using the same table, this is a great great way to do it.I’ll importantly note that I’m thankful for the padding on both the top and bottom of the clamp, it’s padded in such a way that I’m not even a little worried for my nice dining table that I recently re-finished on my own so am a little protective of.
