The sensor in your car is fragile and over time it can be damaged by jumping, leaning on the seat with your knees or dropping liquids. It takes a long and costly repair, the seat has to be uncovered, a new mat has to be bought and the seat has to be re-upholstered. The defect in the mat will cause the dashboard light to come on. In addition, the activation of this signal causes YOUR CAR NOT TO PASS THE MOT, even if it has no other defects.
Instructions: Installation is very simple. It only takes 1 minute. Generally, the light clears by itself when you switch it on, but sometimes it is enough to drive 50 km and the fault disappears. If this is not the case, remove the ignition from the car and put it back on and wait a few seconds, until the car performs the light test again.
STEP 1: Pull the old connector out of the mat and unhook it.
STEP 2: Take the emulator shipped.
STEP 3: Insert the emulator into the plug in its one-way direction until the part goes all the way in. The process is finished.
IN CASE IT DOESN'T WORK, TRY TO CLEAR THE ERROR WITH A DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE. IF IT DOESN'T WORK, MAYBE YOUR CAR IS NOT COMPATIBLE.
