Strongly recommend if you're new to watercolors or pan colors...
I am new to this form of watercolor so I went with a less expensive set. Upon trying them I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Unfortunately I must have missed in the description that one side has almost a bit of a shimmer in the color which I certainly wasn't looking for. Fortunately it was the brighter and more metallic side that would have been used much less regardless. It comes with several inexpensive brushes and some water brushes. I would recommend this set if you're new to water color or haven't used the pan style water color. It really gives you a good idea of how this form of color will work for you. It has a plastic sheet the seperates both sides and I use as a palette to mix color which is convenient. For the price and extras I don't think you will find anything better for a set with this many colors on amazon.

These are amazing! I’m literally donating all my other paints and I have A LOT of them. Best paints I’ve ever bought. They are vibrant and creamy. Even with dirty water there’s no transfer from brush to new color. I haven’t finished my color swatch but look how gorgeous!!!

Case wobbles and the brushes have some fine, long hairs that impede delecate strokes
This is not a professional paint set, but it is passable. Since it has been years since I studied watercolor, I did not want to spend a fortune on paint, brushes, and paper. So, I saw this kit on FB and decided to try it. First, there are so many colors that I used to mix. It will take me time to get used to seeing. Second, while this is supposed to be a "travel" setup, I find that the case has a decided wobble to the lid. Third, I found that the two round brushes had extra fine hairs at the tip. This made it difficult to execute fine, exacting strokes. Perhaps I should trim those brushes, or I can just use my regular ancient set of brushes. Finally, I have never used water brushes, so that will be a personal learning curve.The jury is still out on whether or not I can achieve the brilliant colors I want or I will have to look elsewhere for those particular paints.
