🎶 Elevate your vinyl vibe—upgrade like a pro, sound like a legend!
The Pro-Ject Audio Systems Debut Turntable Upgrade Kit is a smart, affordable enhancement designed for multiple Pro-Ject models. It reduces motor vibrations through rubber grommets, replaces the drive belt with a rounded, noise-minimizing version, and upgrades the pulley for improved sound performance. This kit delivers high-end audio improvements typically found in premium turntables, letting you upgrade your existing deck with minimal effort and maximum impact.

Bring on the torque!
Got this for my RPM 5.1, already partnered with a Speed Box S.Contrary to reports, the Speed Box alone didn't boost torque by any noticeable amount. This kit however did, largely because the belt is much tighter than the OEM Pro-Ject belt.Given the lack of enclosed fitting instructions, I assumed it was a straight forward swap, but my first attempt introduced an alarming "ker-chunk-ker-chunk" noise to the motor. Turned out I had seated the new pulley too low down and the grub screw was tapping on the aluminium motor mount. It's a shame that an installation guide isn't included at this price, but a PDF is available to download from Henleydesigns site.

Great upgrade for Project Debut 3
This upgrade is worth every penny. It was easy to fit and has totally eliminated the motor noise on my Debut 3. When the stylus hits the record I just hear the record now and not the background motor hum. Highly recommended for owners of older project turntables.

Placebo or genuinely effective? I think its an improvement.
I just fitted this and I THINK its better - although I still do have a slight hum, I am sure that I have to turn the volume up more now to replicate it.I fitted this on my RPM 5.1 and I was frustrated that the instructions that I found (from an enthusiast, nothing official offered) were lacking in confirming how high you should fit the new spindle.I fitted mine at the same height as the previous one but it was too low when using the bottom groove. The belt kept slipping off, so I had to raise it to accommodate both speeds. Also, I am not really sure how tight the rubber damper screws are meant to be. I am not sure it matters, though. Anyway, I will try adding an extra ground cable to my Phono Box to see if that will help, but I am relatively happy. Lets hope its not just a placebo effect!!

Excellent
Can't believe what a difference it made. Motor hum almost completely gone and sound improved massively. So impressed I've just ordered another for my brothers turntable. Cheers

Engineering could be improved and instructions not as thorough as they could be
Fairly easy to install, although the metal piece that you screw down shouldn't be put down quite all of the way else it will catch and make an awful racket! ... the instructions could have been clearer and I feel the piece itself would have benefited from slightly better engineering to make it more idiot proof.
