Denon AVR 3803
This remote works out of the box (no programing) and it covers most of the functions that the units original remote did. It doesn't have a (memory or set) button function for the tuner nor does it have Zone 1 Zone 2 buttons and lacks the LCD display of the original (expensive obscure) remote. Generally it must be pointed directly at the receiver to operate. But... It does work. Good customer service.

Failed After One Week Of Use
I put two batteries in, aimed it at the receiver, and it worked. No going through codes or dip switched or anything.Completely foolproof.But then it just up and quit working after about a week. I put in new batteries, still no good. I checked it with an infrared camera, and no signal emitted.Try elsewhere for a remote.
