Property recognized in iOS 17.3 on iPhone 13 Pro. Will not work directly with external HDD/SSD and other with higher power demands, those need adapter with Lightning power input, or powered USB hub (I’ve tested with externally powered USB hun and it works even with heavy HHDs/SSDs). As soon as power demand rises, iPhone cuts power completely, need to reconnect adapter to enable it again. Works directly with simple USB flash storage, probably card reader, audio adapters,

This is complete trash.
Just got mine and tried it on my iPad.This USB Adapter keeps disconnecting OFF and ON while plugged.Tried different memory sticks and same thing.Spent some time trying to make it work but it just will not.I recommend looking for another brand.

Works! (but overheats)
The product works as described and it doesn’t even require any third party apps. It’s all right there on the Files app in iPhone (with appropriate IOS of course).It did get fairly warm when used even for a short period of time, however I was using a large capacity USB, and besides, it did work even while it was quite warm for as long as I needed. Doesn't work
This unit didn't work as described and that was after taking it to a Mac expert. It wasn't worth returning for the money spent so it went in the recycle bin.

Doesn't work Iphone 14 pro max
This does not work on Iphone 14 pro. Plug it in and nothing happens.Waste of money
