It would be 5 stars but they dont have a lip to help open. The lid broke on one when trying to open because of this. Otherwise they are a great item for the price

Like the title says, some of the lids arrived damaged, good job it was a 30 pack and I had plenty more. I prepare meals for my mother on a weekly basis and these containers are a great size and they stack well and seemed to be quite sturdy. I’ve just opened this box and went to lid a couple of meals to find the corner of the lids bashed and broken on closer inspection there were a further 6 broken in the box. So I now have 30 bases and only 22 lids. Already have meals in the tubs when I noticed so won’t be returning

they are without doubt the worst containers to use.Impossible to open the lids are dangerous when openning and can cut your fingers.avoid at all cost

I am in the early stages of incorporating batch cooking into my routines. For this,I needed a fair number of food containers. I have collected a variety of sizes and types, but these are by far the most useful/important of them all. Delivery was fine, they were compact arranged in a cardboard box. Each unit is 15.5 x 22.5 cm, and ,I can fit 9 in each main drawer in my fridge/freezer as 3 x 3, if I raise the middle by a few mm. Each holds 500 no or 2 cups (allowing for expansion on freezing) .. Surfaces are very smooth a and rounded - no hard corners to make cleaning difficult. It is also easy to extract the frozen food for conventional warming if the microwave is busy. Overall, exactly what I wanted. Otherwise, the cover can be tricky to fit,/ remove -there is a plate shaped version which is much easier, but takes up too much space in the freezer. When filled with water,and held at an angle,there may be a Derbyshire drip ,- no problem when frozen, but I have thicker, more rigid containers for moving food lover significant distances. I mention all this only for completeness - I am fully satisfied with the set, and price, and have no regrets 're buying it. .
